Chapter 10- Burning Bridges

It's been a very long time, but I'm slowly coming back around I promise.

NIQUE P.O.V

After feeding and changing Summer I put her back in her car seat, and woke up Raine.

"Raine, come on we're going to the house."

I tapped D's shoulder

"D I'm gonna head back to the house, I'll call you later."

"Alright baby good night" he mumbled turning back over

I shook my head and grabbed Summer's car seat, following Raine out we headed to the parking lot.

After we strapped the girls in, We headed home. It was a quiet ride aside from the radio.

"So Raine what have you been up to?" I asked

She sighed "I'm trying to go back to school and get my degree in psychology."

"But?" I said

"I don't have anyone to keep the girls, while I'm in school or at work. I had to quit my job, and now the only money I have coming in is from doing hair and nails." she explained

"Raine why didn't you ask for help? Baby sometimes you have to swallow your pride, and take the extra mile. It's not just you anymore, if you would've said something to me or Alex we would've helped you out."

She just held her head down, I squeezed her hand.

"It's gonna be okay sweetie" I said

She squeezed my hand and gave me a small smile.

I pulled up in the driveway, and saw Alex's truck.

"Looks like Alex is here" Raine said

None of the lights were on, we got out the car and I unlocked the door showing Raine to her room.

Once I saw she was settled in I walked upstairs to my room. I slowed down when I heard moaning, pushing the room door open slowly I turned on the bathroom light

"Bab-"

All I saw was red ........

LaNiece POV

I don't know what the f*ck happened, one minute I'm being pleased the next I'm getting blows to my head.

I put my hands up trying to block some of her hits, but that pissed her off more.

After a while I heard Alex yelling for her to stop, she hit me one last time and I blacked out.

ALEX POV

I hadn't heard Nique come in, she hit hard as a bitch though. I didn't say anything, I just watched her whoop her sisters ass.

I saw LaNiece go limp, and that's when I pulled Nique off of her. I wish I hadn't though, she swung and hit me dead in the jaw then walked into the closet pulling her Louis bag off the shelf.

"Nique will you let me explain?"

"No"

"Baby please just hear me out, she made me do it"

She stopped packing and looked at me, before chuckling.

"I don't want to hear it Alex, you sound so stupid. You didn't look like she was making you do much of anything"

She pushed pass me and walked downstairs to Raine.

Raine gets her things, and I grabbed the girls.

I put the girls in the backseat, and helped Raine put her things in the trunk. Before I could say anything she drove off.

Darrien POV

To say I was the happiest man alive would be an understatement. Everything was perfect, I got my future wife, my beautiful son, only thing missing was my baby girl.

I stared at Ashley while she slept, I can't believe she's the mother of my child. The fact that I missed her whole pregnancy, upsets me but it was my fault, I shouldn't have left.

I was laying with Ash when D.j started crying, careful not to wake Ash I picked him up and laid him on my chest, staring down at him he opened his eyes.

"Damn" I said.

He was a spitting image of me, no lie.

We just stared at each other, until my phone vibrated in my pocket.

BossLady : When you leave the hospital come to my townhouse. 3600 Nirvana Cir. Summerfield Pointe

When in the hell did she get a townhouse?

Alex what did you do this time?

Okay I know I've been gone for quite some time, I needed a break. I'm slowly coming back around just give me sometime, excuse any mistakes as well. It isn't much but something's better than nothing !

-Nique catches Alex?

-Beats LaNiece ass !

-Is she okay?

-Raine is struggling?

-Nique left, she has a townhouse ?

-Darrien and his family <3

What is Nique gonna do ? Do you think she should've listened to what Alex had to say? Or was Alex in the wrong?
