Part 4

Eridan's pov-

I race home. I had to make a good impression. Once I get home I lock my car and rush into my house. At this moment, I have three hours before Sol comes over. My house is usually clean and tidy, so I didn't have to do much in that department. I unpack my backpack, grab a towel, and head in the shower.

After fifteen minute I get out. I wrap a towel around my waist and go to my room. I dress in my black t-shirt with my zodiac on it, my blue-black pants, and my blue-black scarf. I sit down and wait until he picks me up.

Sollux's pov-

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck, shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit, God damnit!"

        I had two hours before I had to pick him up, but my house is still a mess! This is impossible! I can't even get it semi clean! He'll think I'm one of those people who live in a messy house. FFFFUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

By 5:30 I have my house as clean as it has ever been. I get it the shower and clean the smell away. By 5:55 I was ready to go get ED. I started for my keys and then my car. I wonder what he'll want to do? I take out the note in which ED wrote his address. I plug the address into my GPS and drive for his place.

Eridan's pov-

I jump when I hear a knock on the door. 6:26, 4 minutes early. I grab my phone and wallet and head to the door to find a well groomed Sollux.

"You're four minutes early you knoww."

"2o what. At lea2t ii got here."

I walk towards his car and get in. He turns on the radio once he gets in. Twin Skeleton's is on. I start to faintly hum to the song of my favorite band. Soon I can hear him humming too. Towards the end of the song we both start singing. Once the song is over he says:

"ii diidnt know that you liiked FOB!"

"Are you serious!?? FOB is the best band in the wwhole wworld!"

"Really?!!! Do you own any album2?"

"Of course I do! I havve Take This To Your Grave, From Under The Cork Tree, Infinity On High, Folie à Deux, Save Rock And Roll, American Beauty/American Psycho, and Make American Psycho Again."

"No way! I have all tho2e too!"

"Wwhat's your favorite song?"

"You can't ask me to choose."

"True!"

       We continue to talk about FOB for the rest of the car ride. Once we get to his house we agree to listen to FOB while playing some of the many video games Sol owns. Sol beat me many times at various games. Eventually we stopped playing and just listened to the music. I slowly started to doze off. I soon find myself sleeping in Sol's arms.
