After the Falls

Homecoming

Dipper's POV
          As I stepped off the bus Mabel stumbled behind me. She quickly grabbed my hand and at the same time we breathed in from our mouths and out our noises.
         "From now on we aren't mystery twins anymore." Mabel said to me as she picked up waddles in her other hand.
"What?" I questioned Mabel who gave me a slight smile.
   "Mystery twins is a Gravity Falls thing if you understand." She said  no longer smiling.
  "Um okay" I said as we took our first step. We sat down at a empty bus stop. Mabel put down Waddles and rubbed his head.  I pulled out the paper from Wendy and all of our friends. I could tell Mabel was looking over my shoulder but I didn't acknowledge her.
  " Wow mom and dad are late like normal." I said shoveling the paper back into my pocket.
   "Hey" Mabel screamed. I quickly glanced up to see Waddles about to cross the busy street. I could see the tears in her eyes so I did what I did all summer, sacrificed myself for Mabel. I ran into the road while Mabel screamed after me. I couldn't find him and that was when I realized a big truck was coming up the road.
Mabel's POV
"Dipper get out of the way" I screamed at Dipper. I could feel a new kind of fear. This one I had never felt before it was like stressful. He dove out of the way of a truck and grabbed waddles. 
   He placed him in front of me and I realized dipper's arm was bleeding a little. Just then two boys walked up behind him and grabbed him.
"Hey wimp" The tall one said I hadn't recognized them.
" Have you been hiding from us this summer"
    "No shut up" Dipper yelled back. I didn't know what to do so I just shoved into the tall one. The other one jumped back. Dipper then turned and kicked the tall one in the shin.
" If you don't leave us alone I will show you what I really did this summer" Dipper screamed and the boys ran away.
"Dipper are you okay" I said realizing his arm was getting worse.
"What, yeah I'm fine" he said but he was lying. He did it when ever he didn't want to talk or he was hiding something.
