I'm apologising in advance, it's short
Rose's POV
I sat there in the crevice for, well, I don't know how long. However it was long enough for me to fall asleep because I was woken from running through the hall, no memory of my mind and body relaxing. Due to the fact that I was still just outside the meeting room, I could hear the conversation going on. "Sir, I don't know where she is," an unknown agents voice exclaimed.
"I'm not asking you if you know, I'm asking you to find her!" The voice I recognised as Fury's yelled.
"Yes sir." The agent said before running out of the room.
I took this moment to stand up, after wiping my face and teasing my hair to cover my puffy eyes I walked into the room of which Fury was in, pacing along the back wall, deep enough in though that he didn't notice me. "Fury, who's missing? I might be able to help."
His head shot up in shock at my voice, his eyes wide as he ran towards me, engulfing me in a hug. "Where the hell have you been?" He said as he placed me on the ground before gaining his stoic look again.
"Well that was unexpected. And um, just outside the door." I muttered, looking at the floor.
"What were yo- oh, you heard didn't you?" He, said, looking at me with slight pity, and sadness of his own.
"Um, yeah, I did." I said even quieter this time.
"Wait, your speaking?" He noted once we begun walking through the halls.
"Um, yeah, I felt like I should." He nodded in understanding.
"Also, I have a surprise for you." He said, coming to a stop at a door, giving a hand gesture to say 'open it'.
Gave him a confused look before opening the door, hearing a creak before being greeted by a mostly dark room, however, once the door completely opened the room filled with light. "CLINT!" I screamed jumping into the arms of my other father figure, along with a sort of brother figure.
"Hey princess," he said, grabbing while I was in mid air and spinning me around before engulfing me in a hug. I couldn't help as a few tears escaped my eyes. "Don't worry baby girl, I've got you. It's going to be okay."
I warned you, I'm sorry it's short, but I felt like I could end it there, and you guys deserved an update so yeah, I promise the next one will be normal size.
