Roses POV
"I can close it" I hear a muffled voice near me say "can anybody copy? I can close the portal." Tasha?
"Do it!" I hear shout in my ear as I try to stand up.
"Wait!" the egotistical voice replies.
"Stark, these things are still coming" Steve replies.
"We can't keep this up much longer Stark." I mumble finally getting myself up on my feet wiping the semi-dried blood out of my eye.
"Ro you're okay!" Tasha yells coming over to me with the scepter in her hand, I now see I am on top of Stark tower where the portal was set up with an old man lying beside it.
"I've got a nuke coming in, its gonna blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it." Tony states.
"Can you make it there and back in time?" I don't get a reply...
"Stark... you know that's a one-way trip" Steve interjects knowing what I was worried about.
"Save the rest for the turn," he jokes.
"WHAT ABOUT PEPPER?" I scream but still get no reply. Instead see him fly into the hole and disappear, I can imagine all of the citizens and soldiers cheering not realizing what the cost of this victory was. Suddenly all the chitauri start falling as an orange ball of hot gas and fire begins closing in to the entrance of the portal. Tony please...
"close it," I hear Steve's voice crack.
"NOO" I scream as Tasha shoves the scepter into the portal an invisible force stopping me mid step and pushing me to the ground. No...
