Rose's POV
A groan fills the streets and i feel the ground slightly tremor and at least five metallic whales replace the single we took down.
"Guys" Nat says, a hint of worry in her voice, just a hint. Everyone follows her gaze which just so happens to be what I was looking at. suddenly I was reminded of how young I was, I was reminded of how small I was, I was reminded of how much less training I had... I was reminded of how weak I was. Was there any point in me being here? can I even help?
"Call it Captain," Tony's voice crackles.
"Alright, listen up," Steve says, looking towards the portal everyone once else looking at him. "until we close that portal up there, we need to contain it. Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything; call out patterns and strays. Stark you've got the perimeter, if anything gets more than three blocks out you turn it back or turn it to ash." Steve finally takes his eyes off the portal above and looks to his team.
"Give me a lift?" Clint turns to To- Stark and he nods once.
"Right, better clench up Legolas," almost immediately they both shoot up into the air.
"Thor, you've gotta bottleneck that portal. you've got the lightening- light the bastards up." never knew you'd say that sorta stuff Steve.
Thor swings his hammer around in a circle before through some sort of God given gift flings himself into the air, I am beyond trying to understand that stuff anymore. I turn to see Steve, Tasha, Bruce and myself left.
"Tasha, Rose youll stay on the ground with me. "And Hulk," Steve pauses as Bruce or I guess the Hulk turns his head towards him quickly. "Smash." The Hulk smirks and leaps towards the tops of the building taking down anything alien in his way.
"Well, I guess this is it," I turn towards Tasha and pull out my blades.
