(Maka's POV):

It was only a few months since me and Kanji has spoken. I miss her so much, but I reject the feeling. When me and Soul walk home or to the academy, I find myself looking for her. I want to apologize to her but I bet she hates my guts.

I was walking to the store to buy my lady things but I heard a yell from an alleyway. I run over to it to see a woman bleeding on the ground. I look and I see Kanji. But something was different. She had narrow kishin symbols across her cheeks. The symbol in her eyes became more bold than the first time we met. "K-Kanji?" I choked out in fear. I saw tears breaking in her eyes and little hiccups come from her. I walked over to Kanji with open arms. "Hey. Long time, no see, huh?" I smiled. Hot tears strolled down my face and I ran to Kanji and hugged her. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean all those things I said! Please forgive me!" I cried into her chest. She hugs me back and starts crying too. After a couple of minutes, we pulled ourselves together. "I forgive you." Kanji whispered. We started walking home together with our happy ever after.
