Your POV
I followed Aphmau up the steps to her house. We entered her house and went downstairs. I looked around. It was an unfinished basement with stone walls. Behind the stairs was a large storage room. There was a nice table underneath a big window at the front, looking out onto the wheat field. We sat down at the table and I sighed, waiting for all the questions.
"How did you know about Laurance?" Aphmau asked me.
"Along time ago, my village was attacked by Shadow Knights. Laurance took my brother and I from out house. When I found a chance, I ran for it but when I looked back I saw my brother..." My voice faltered and I paused for a couple seconds. "I also saw a Shadow Knight away from the group. He was looking around like he was scared. Just a few days ago, I was heading away from Meteli, when I was tackled by Laurance. I immediately recognized him as a Shadow Knight. When I brought it up, he told me he didn't want to talk about it and looked pretty crestfallen. I know he isn't a spy. He wants nothing to do with the other Shadow Knights or the nether." I finished talking and looked at Aphmau. She seemed lost in thought.
"Okay..." She said slowly. "Okay. That's all I needed to hear." I got up and started walking to the stairs, when two kids came rushing down.
"Hehehe! I'm ganna get you Malachi!" One of them said. I quickly got out of their way as they stumbled around the basement.
"Kevin! Malachi! What have I told you about running in the house?" Aphmau spoke up. These kids must be hers. I smiled. "Say hello to our new guest in the village, F/N. F/N, this is Levin," She motioned to the one with blonde hair, "and this is Malachi." She put her hand on the brown haired one's head.
"I didn't know you had children."
"Aphmau likes to adopt children. She found both of them on her adventures." A new voice said. A person with blue hair walked down the steps. I recognized him as Dante, one of the guards. "Aphmau, I need to talk to you-" Aphmau cut him off.
"About Laurance." Dante nods. "He stays there for now." I sigh and start heading up the stairs. I wanted to go see him.

Laurance's POV (That evening)
I shut my eyes, hoping to maybe get some sleep, but I was laying on stone. Sasha stole the bed and made me stay on the floor. I hear the door open and some footsteps, but I don't move or open my eyes.
"Laurance? Are you alright?" I knew that voice. It was F/N. I open my eyes. She was standing at the side of the cell, her back to the door. She must have changed her outfit because now she was wearing a F/C short sleeve shirt, a black skirt and had a SF/C backpack on with her dagger sticking out of it. Her hair was in a messy bun and on her feet were F/C combat boots. She looked very pretty. The only thing separating us was the iron bars. It seemed like an endless barrier.
"I brought you something." She took off her backpack and dug through it. I stood up and blinked the sleep from my eyes, wondering what the something could be.
"Here," She held out her hands to me. They held a small box. "I made them using some plants and stuff I bought from Meteli before you found me." Before you found me... I took the box and started to open it, but stopped.
"Your a Werewolf. Giving him candy." Sasha interrupted. F/N glanced at me, bringing her hands up in an innocent way.
"It's not candy. It's cookies." I finished unwrapping the box, which was now fully open. Sasha looked questioning.
"Can I have one?" She asked. Her question surprised me. I didn't think she would care about simple cookies.
"Are you both..." F/N trailed off.
"Yeah." I knew what she meant. Sasha and I are both Shadow Knights. I hope I don't scare F/N. She's just to nice. "You can have one Sasha but only one. They were my present after all." Sasha chuckled as I gave her one.
"Don't want to give any of your girlfriend's cookies away?" She teased. I could feel my face heating up.
"She's not my girlfriend! We just met!" Sasha started laughing.
"Oh whatever. I'll go back to sleep. Don't wake me up this time. You can chat with your girlfriend while I think of an escape plan." She laid back on the bed and faced the wall so we couldn't see her face. I turn to F/N. She was blushing hard.
"Um.. So do you know how long I will be in here?" I ask F/N. She seemed to be imagining something.
"Y-yes. Well, no. I talked to Aphmau, hoping to get you released but she doesn't trust me."
"It's not about trust. It's about being scared. Aphmau is a good lord. She won't let her fondness of me get in her way. Because she's had a history with Shadow Knights, I can understand why she's locked me up in here. But I didn't even get time to explain."
"Aphmau's had a history with Shadow Knights?"
"Yes. About a year ago-" I was interrupted.
"F/N." I looked behind F/N to see Aphmau. When did she get here?
"Come here." F/N looks at me then walks over to Aphmau. Aphmau whispers something to her that I can't quite make out.
"What about Laurance!? Will he be able to come?" Come to what? I listen carefully to F/N and watch as Aphmau shakes her head.
"Let's get you ready. Alright? This is meant to be happy." Aphmau is no longer whispering. "Don't tell Laurance." She walks out, pretty much pushing F/N ahead of her.
"F/N! Wait!" I yell, waking up Sasha. They disappear out the door.
"We're having a party!" I hear F/N say.
"Could you shut up for just a couple minutes? Sheesh!" I ignore Sasha's complaint. A party. They must be having a welcoming party for
F/N. And I'm not invited. I sigh.
