Remember those markings on my arm from earlier? They can't be known by anyone accept you and me, and it's spectacular no one else has found out yet. They are my best kept secret and I will take it to the grave-- hopefully. See... everyone in this galaxy is a little different from the people of the past. All because of the great scientist Jago Leneroko. His invention was spectacular. It's kind of like a chip, and in the early days it had to be installed, but now it appears at the age Eleven. It's kind of like a battery pack, on your arm, that's kind of like a tattoo, that changes almost constant.
Well anyways, there are six batteries, seven if you count the over-all health battery. The one farthest up the forearm is the 'Mental Health' battery, like emotions and feelings. The other next to that, going down the arm, is the 'Smarts or Intelligence' battery, like your thinking skills. The next one is the 'Stamina' battery, which tells you how much energy you'd have for physical activity. The fourth one is the 'Logic' battery, which is how capable you are to figuring things out, and being accurate. The 'Sleep' battery is pretty self explanatory, and so is the 'Attack' battery, which tells you how powerful your attacks would be, or your battle strategies. The the final one, located on the wrist, tells you your life, whether it's how long you'll live or how healthy you are is unknown, because they seem to correspond.Anyways, most people's batteries correspond to their eyes, with different variants of colours for each. The eyes and the batteries tell which planet you are from, but not me. My eyes change colours and my batteries do too, none of them ever matching one another. This is all bad because people like me, with changing eyes and changing batteries, are said to be from out of this galaxy, sent to destroy life as we know it. I would never do that though, but I do have a theory-- gotta go.
Alfy wrote quickly as he slapped the book closed, right as Otto came around the corner, back from scavenging and hunting.
"Find anything?" Alfy asked curiously, Otto just shook his head. "No. Most of the water is toxic, and most of the animals here died from radiation, which burned all the meat to a crisp." He said, sighing heavily. He plopped down on the ground and went back to carving something for, earlier.Alfy moved over to watch him quietly, it was rather humid and hot. Otto took off his shirt, leaving on his pants, Alfy however kept his jacket on, like always. Otto was always curious about that, he never understood his fiends need for a jacket or a blanket, maybe he had difficulty creating heat, Otto always concluded silently. Otto whistled quietly, thinking silently while Alfy watched him, curious to what he was making.
Curiously finally killed him and he has to ask, "What're you making?" He asked in a curious, yet excited tone. Otto smiled and ruffled his hair "you'll see later" he said, wanting to make him wait. Alfy whined quietly. "Please tell me!" He exclaimed loudly, Alfy didn't have much patience. Otto just shook his head and laughed, "No, you'll see later, I promise"
Alfy groaned loudly. Not wanting to wait until it was finished, so he watched, trying to guess what the things was. It looked a lot like a staff, maybe he was making a walking stick, he concluded silently. Later would he find out that that staff would bring greatness and horror.
