So today we got to go outside as a little reward, and it was pretty nice outside dispite it's winter (Welcome to the south) and I decided to go jump hurdles on the other side of the track. There were boys all lined up on the side cheering me on and my friends were on the other side also cheering me on and I ran and took a jump!
My foot got caught and I fell and scraped my back and hit my head. I sat up and for a split second I forgot where I was but I stood up and screamed, "THAT WAS AWESOME!" And all my friends ran over to me asking if I was okay. I said yes with this proud smile on my face. Then the pain kicked in...
I started crying and my friends started telling me I was awesome and I was a great jumper for a first timer, and all the boys were mocking me. I'm glad I have friends that care for me, but those boys? Why did they think it was ok to mock someone who just got hurt? Oh well. Karma is a b***** to people like them. After all, it's actually was pretty awesome. It was fun attempting to fly, and It's always fun to get a little hurt now and then.
Btw, this isn't the first time I did something this dumb either. Did I learn anything? Nope. Did I have fun? Yep.
"How did you do it?" You ask."Well, I smiled and kept going."
