The wind was forceful. Rushing by in huge bursts of force. The ground was getting closer every second but James, 17 and living a life riddled with conveniently dramatic events at every turn, knew it was of necessity to leave it closed for as long a possible. After all, a tough landing was nothing compared to the terrors of the evil currently hot on his heels.
It was crazy to imagine that a mere five minutes ago saw him sitting poised on a plane and getting further away from his troubles by the second. And even more so that 'about a week ago' he'd had NO problems to begin with.
