Jamie's POV

2:30 P.M.
I looked at the clock, wishing time would slow down a bit. I glanced towards Mei. She knew. She knew what I did with Ivy, yet she never asked about it. Before school started she pulled me aside and asked me about what happened on Saturday. Lucky for me, there really was a car crash, which made my story more believable. The thing that didn't make it believable was that the car crash happened after we came home from the forest. Mei can figure out all the details of a situation without anyone telling her. She would just figure it out herself and you'd never know how she did. When I told her the story, she seemed to believe me, which scared me since she smiled and brushed it off to the side. After that, she has been observing me the whole day, watching my movement, watching my reactions towards stuff, everything. Especially when I was around Ivy. I tried to act normally, but Mei could tell that I was trying to make her avoid something. Now after lunch, she began examining Ivy. She would always look at her with a spiteful look in her eyes. I'd ask her what she was looking at with such harmful eyes, but she'd just smile at me and say it was nothing. I didn't know what her intentions were. She was either gonna harm Ivy or talk to me more sternly this time. I was hoping that she'd talk to me instead, but one look into those evil little eyes of her could mentally break you. I didn't really want to talk to her, but I didn't want her to hurt Ivy either. I decided to quickly bolt out the door as soon as the bell rang.
"Jaime!"
"Y-Yes?" People began to snicker.
"I've called on you five times already! Tell me what's the answer for number twenty-seven!
Crap! I haven't been paying attention the whole time!
"Um...three?" People began to laugh this time.
"This is Spanish class...not math. See me after the bell rings!"
"Yes ma'am..."
Damn it! This day is just getting worse!
3:20 P.M.
After the teacher scolded me for twenty minutes, I decided to go call Ivy. I pulled out my phone and began to dial her number.
Huh? Her phone isn't on? But it's always on...
I went outside to find her car. It was still there. I looked for Mei's car too. It was there too. My mind began to race. I began running around the school.
Mei please! Please! Whatever you do, don't hurt Ivy!
I stopped near the girls bathroom. I heard faint voices.
"...with my girlfriend?!" I heard someone struggling to speak.
"I...won't tell you...anything...you bitch!"
"Fine...if you won't talk, then I guess you won't mind if I burry this blade in your other arm now do you?" I quickly ran into the bathroom.
"Stop! What are you...Mei?!" Mei looked up at me, fear filled her eyes.
"N-No Jaime! Th-This isn't what it looks like!" Tears began to flow down her face.
"Oh yeah?! Then what is it?! Why are you crouching down by Ivy with a switchblade while she's cowering in fear with blood running down her arm?!" Mei slowly got up and stood to the side. She drooped her head and put the switchblade away. I ran towards Ivy.
"Are you okay? Did she hurt you? If she did let's go to the nurses office." I turned towards Mei. And pointed at her.
"You. You're coming with us too. Gimme the switchblade." She slowly walked towards me and gave me the blade. It had a thin coat of blood on it. I stuffed it in my pocket and we helped Ivy get up and lead her to the nurses office.
