What is so special about 7?

It has been a full week literally and Tae and I have been very and I mean extremely awkward. Maybe I shouldn't have kissed him but since then he runs away from me and would faint if I corner him. Sheesh I don't understand the guy at all.

Yuri the girl who had been unconscious when she arrived was awake and she couldn't remember anything at all. All she has been doing was cling to me all the time. It literally is hard to even pee when she was around and that was scary as hell.

I wish to talk things with Tae but he seems like he needed time to just think things through before we did anything.

I have been officially a runner but I haven't ran yet since of my foot but let me tell you now that it didn't hurt at all now. Yeah it was still there but now it was all basically hard now and just needed to close up with skin was all.

As long as it didn't hurt I could run and that's why I was running to Yoongi. "Woah slow down pipsqueak what are you so excited about?" Yoongi asked with his hands on his hips. He was already dressed and ready to run when the gates open.

"I am here to say I want to run and I really need to show you something," I pleaded leaving him to raise an eyebrow at me.

"Show me something? Please everything you saw that first and one night I have seen too so there is no point."

"No you don't understand! Yuri told me a way out and that thing you found is possibly got something to do with it." he paused for a moment but agreed shorty after dragging me to the map room. Inside the map room had a diagram a 3d one to be exact. It was how the maze was and it was all detailed.

"I have mapped this out for almost 3 years since I came here. There is no more to map," Yoongi admitted.

"There has to be a way out and I know it! Please trust me on this. We just need to check it out," I grabbed the device and inspected it. it was a cylinder shape metal device and it had a number 7 written on it. What does that even mean?

"Okay fine I will trust you this time but I don't get where abouts you want to go." I looked down onto the 3d map and I saw a larger part of the maze.

"What are those?" I pointed to it. Yoongi looked down.

"Oh we call those blades. I found them in the second year in the maze; they don't go anywhere else I tried."

"That is where we will go then, come on let's go," I took a step towards the exit but a hand stopped me.

"Didn't you hear what I just said? There is nothing out there, really the blades is the furthest part of the maze but there isn't anything there!" Yoongi spoke seriously. I bit my lip and glanced back into his eyes seriously.

"I know but I have a hunch there is something more past that. Please," it took him a few minutes but he nodded and walked to a trunk opening it and threw me something strange.

"Put it on, it holds your supplies and all runners are required to run with them on." I nodded and placed it over my head. Yoongi saw me struggling with putting the rest of it on so he helped clicking the bottom parts together so they wouldn't fall off while I run. "Okay it's still morning so we can still run for a long while. Here grab a bottle of water and give me this," he reached and took the device out of my hand and placed it in a pocket of his. "And let's get ready to run. Meet me at the entrance," with that he ran and I was alone.

Taking a bottle of water I took one more glance to the 3d map before I walked out of the map room and headed towards the maze entrance. On the way there my eyes caught onto Tae who was talking to some others.

He glanced to Yoongi then to me finally catching at what I am wearing. Taking a step forward he stopped and stayed where he was. It was like he afraid to approach me, but that wasn't a surprise since the entire week he was acting like this all the time.

"Hey Minho!" I heard a girl voice shout out. I knew it was Yuri and she stopped once she was next to me. "Where are you going?"

"Into the maze," I answered as we walked to the entrance. "Why are you here?"

"I wanted to see you. Is that so bad?" she questioned but I didn't answer. "What are you determined to find out inside there?"

"The device that was found, I have a hunch that will lead us to an exit."

"Oo exciting! Well don't get killed I mean I prefer you alive and in one piece you know," she laughed and I chuckled in response.

"I promise to stay alive. Say Yuri," I started.

"Hm?"

"While I am out could... could you keep an eye on Tae maybe help him if he needs the extra hand?" she smiled and nodded.

"Sure whatever you want I can do that," she beamed happily and I smiled.

"Thanks Yuri. I will see you later okay?" she nodded and I waved to her as she made her way to Tae. Once I was next to Yoongi he nodded to me.

"Okay so this device has the number seven on it and that same night number 7 was open. We will be heading there okay so follow my head and try to catch up," I rolled my eyes.

"Isn't it that you need to catch up?" I retorted and he laughed.

"Yeah, yeah I get it you are faster but I am leading so shut your trap and lets go," he began running and I felt adrenaline kick in.

This is it. I am finally a runner I thought to myself as I ran not far behind Yoongi.

I thought maybe having some conflict between 2 min as its only the start really of the series and thought that maybe it would be too fast for them to be together so yeah xD reason why is i have seen many love stories make their love conflicts too quick and i thought that it would be better to have a longer story line before anything is settled in.
