Everything became slow motion afterwards. Yong Guk stared wide eyed as he looked down to see a wooden pole stabbed into his heart before he fell onto his knees and then onto his side. He stared at us taking his last few breaths before life drained from his eyes.

Jongin fell onto his knees quickly next to Kyungsoo who was struggling to breathe. I did the same and applied pressure to the wound. "Why did you protect me?!" I cried out frustrated. I didn't want others to get hurt because of me anymore, I wanted to help everyone out alive.

Kyungsoo slipped a smile on his face as he stared up at me. "Because you brought us out of here. You helped us out of the maze and without you we wouldn't be here. I am showing my gratitude and accept this as a thank you for helping and taking care of us," Kyungsoo spoke with strain in his voice, I could tell.

"Kyungsoo..." Jongin mumbled to him softly with a saddened expression. "You are going to live okay I won't allow you to die," his voice staggered, lips quivering.

Kyungsoo gave a gentle look back to Jongin. "Thank you Jongin," before he could say anymore large doors opened and we all glanced to many adults in uniform run towards us with guns and one by one dragging us out. Jongin held Kyungsoo close to his chest as he ran out of the building and to a desert.

It was nothing like the glade where it was all green and covered in trees, here there was sand and nothing else. We were pushed onto a helicopter all of us together.

"We are ready to go, we got everyone out," one of the men spoke and the helicopter took us up into the sky and to who knows where. We all looked down to see the glade and the maze from up top. It looked amazing the design looked really inspirational but I was so glad we were out of there.

Taemin cuddled next to me and I wrapped an arm around his waist rubbing his back softly. All of us were in the helicopter accompanied by one of the men in uniform. He seemed harmless so we all weren't that worried.

Hearing sobs Tae and I glanced to Jongin who was brushing Kyungsoo's hair softly. Kyungsoo looked up to his lover with a pale face. His eyes were half lidded and his hand held onto Jongin's spare hand cuddling into it.

I hope once we arrive to where we are meant to be that he will get some help. He couldn't let Kyungsoo die. He didn't care that he had done that stunt to save him he didn't want to live if he had others die for him.

Everyone was feeling sleepy once night hit. The skies were dark and all we heard were grows and loud yelling down below. Looking out of the window of the helicopter I saw many so called humans but... they looked and acted totally different. That's when I noticed the messed up face from one of them.

A woman down below had half her face gone and she was screeching as she tried to jump up towards the helicopter. Feeling a shuffling besides me I saw Tae try to lean forward to see what was happening but I placed a hand over his eyes and brought him down again.

He stared up at me with an adorable tired like look. I brushed his hair softly. "What's the noise outside hyung?" he questioned his eyes closed.

"There are just people yelling down below. Don't worry okay," I hoped he wouldn't look as they look as though once you stare at them they would haunt your nightmares.

"Oh I see... I am tired," he whispered exhausted. I don't blame him I mean we are all tired and one is only living by a thread.

"Everyone wake up we are here," the man ordered and got ready getting his gun loaded and placed his helmet on. Everyone got up as lights shone up ahead and we went down.

The helicopter doors opened and one by one we were pulled towards the building up ahead.

"You all run inside quickly!" we were ordered and we all nodded running to the entrance of the building. The sand storm that was around us picked up and it burned as it touched our skin.

Finally we were inside the building the huge door were mechanically closed and we turned around to see many adults working in many different areas of the huge building. We were lost and confused to what to do.

My thoughts were interrupted as I looked down to Kyungsoo who just slumped in my arms. My heart dropped and I went onto my knees placing Kyungsoo on the ground. I reached for his neck hoping my imagination was playing tricks but...

I couldn't feel a pulse.

My blood froze at this. I brushed Kyungsoo's hair out of his face and saw how peaceful he looked. I tried to hold in my tears but I failed miserably as they all spilt out. My sobs became louder and louder as I held onto Kyungsoo for dear life.

"No my Kyungsoo please don't leave me!" I screamed I felt like my heart has been ripped out of me. For a year we have been together and now after escaping we couldn't find a better life together like how we wanted.

Arms wrapped themselves around me and cuddled me close I bet trying to calm me down.

"Shh Jongin you know Kyungsoo wouldn't want you crying and sad now would he?" Jin's soothing tone touched my ears. Adult men came along to the group and began to take Kyungsoo's body away from me and I reached out hoping to reach out for him but I missed and watched as they took him away.

"No! Give him back to me!" I shouted in a crying mess. I hid my face into Jin's broad shoulders my cries become muffled. No one said anything at this moment and if they did

I wouldn't know if I would have cared or not...

Okay so I updated today cause from later today i wont have internet for 4 days (ugh kill me) and in that time i am most likely going to be bored as hell so if im not lazy (lol i hope) i will do more chapters before coming back home. 

i cried writing kaisoo here. I heard Kaistal is really happening and that they are dating which good for them even if i dont ship it i am happy for them. 

but you kaisoo fans just remember this 'Kaistal in the streets, Kaisoo in the sheets' xD
