Serena's p.o.v
I woke up the next morning and Mitch was talking to the nurse
"Hey...." I said sleepily
"Oh good you're awake." The nurse said
"Your surgery is in an hour and during that time we need to prepare you."
"Are you ready Serena?" Mitch asked
"Yeah...." I sighed
"We'll......it's nice to see your brother is her to support you" the nurse said
"Oh no.....I'm not her brother I'm her boyfriend"
"Aawww that's even cuter.....it's good to see young love even in this situation" the nurse smiled
"Haha yeah" Mitch laughed
"We're going to start preparing you for you surgery now"
"Ok.."Mitch took my hand
The nurse removed the tubes and iv's
then she started rolling me out of the room and Mitch was right there walking along the bedside still holding my hand.
Mitch let go of my hand as we neared the operation room
"Wait" I said
I motioned Mitch to come to me...."I love you so much" I said
"I love you too....you'll be fine ok?"
"Ok" i said...he kissed me and then went to sit down and wait as they rolled me in
They gave me medicine and I was out in about 10 seconds
Mitch p.o.v
I was waiting for Serena's surgery to be done when the doctor came out.....
"Excuse me.....are you Serena's boyfriend?"he asked
"Yes sir...i am" I replied
"..........we have........come across something....that we didn't see before...."
"What!.......what....happened?"
"One of her ribs punctured her lung.....and we dont know if we can fix it in time"
When I heard that my heart stopped......I was both terrified and really mad...
"IF YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FIXING THIS THEN WHY ARE YOU OVER HERE TELLING ME WHEN YOU COULD BE SAVING HER LIFE????" I shouted
"I......I'm sorry sir.....I.......ill go in right now....I....I'm sorry"
He ran back into the operating room
I ran out of the hospital and got in the car.....I immediately started driving I didn't know where I was going....all that ran through my head was....she's gonna die......sh.....sh.....she's gonna die....I don't want her to die........I don't want her to die
