Alex woke up with a start she had another nightmare, she has been getting them since she was 13. After her first hunt, she removed the bed sheets from her body getting up. She moved towards the bathroom, turning on the faucet she splashed water in her face. As she looked up the mirror she saw blood covering her face and hands, she gasped. Quickly trying to rid herself of the blood but when she looked again in the mirror she saw nothing.

She shook her head believing it was just from her nightmare. She never told her dad about the nightmares knowing he would make her stop hunting until she got better. Alex couldn't stop hunting that was the only thing she had that connected her to her mother. She shook her head once again thinking she was making a big deal out of this.

She moved towards the closet taking out her clothes for the day deciding on black jeans, a black top, and a green jacket with some boots. She left her hair loose her natural curls falling on her shoulder. She looked towards her vanity mirror appreciating the looks her mother had left her. Dark curly hair, doe brown eyes and her complex skin complexion.

Her mom had died when she was 13, that been the main reason for the family's secret to be revealed to her so soon. Her father had explained how it was a hunting accident but Alex didn't believe him, she saw the crazed look on her mother's eye. She knew it was something else her father didn't want Alex to know.

Looking at her alarm clock she noticed the hour 7:49, she was late. As she made her way down stairs she grabbed her bag and an orange. Bidding Goodbye to her dad she quickly got into the new SUV her dad had got her, she drove to the school remembering the directions her father had given her. As she made her way in the parking lot she parked next to an orange truck. Alex turned the ignition off quickly taking a deep breath getting ready for this new day. As she got down she saw a girl with doe eyes getting down from the orange truck.

Alex quickly made her way towards the girl after all she didn't want to be alone the first day of school. Said girl looked towards Alex's direction smiling at the new girl. In Forks it was a rare occurrence to have new students.

"Hi I'm Alex, I'm new as you can see" Alex smiled putting her hand forwards for a hand shake.

Bella looked towards the hand quickly moving her form the side shaking the huntress hand. "'I'm Bella, Bella Swan."

Alex looked at the girl with curiosity trying to remember where she heard that name before." Oh, yeah, you're the sheriff's daughter" Alex smiled while Bella nodded her head "The one and only" She murmured.

"Hey do you want me to teach you around, since you're new and all" Bella questioned. Alex smiled brightly happy that at least someone would help her and she wouldn't be alone the rest of the day.

"Yes, please." Bella nodded smiling. She looked towards the school entrance seeing Edward waiting by the doors waiting for her. He looked in her direction beckoning her to hurry up. She knew they were going to be late if she didn't hurry so she took Alex's hand, pulling Alex with her towards Edwards direction. Alex letting out a huff for the sudden movement quickly looked toward the male's direction realizing that's where they were heading.

As soon as they were in front of him, Bella quickly introducing them. Alex now knew said male he was Edward Cullen Bella's boyfriend. Once they were entering the doors Edward.

"Someone wants you" He said to Bella through gritted teeth. Both teenagers looking behind them seeing a teenage boy running towards them. Alex was curious how Edward could know this when his back was towards him, it was impossible for a human. Alex eyes widened, she shook her head quickly looking behind her to see a tanned native American boy, with silky long black hair. She admired him, he was handsome nothing less.

As he neared them he quickly smiled towards Bella. "Bella.

Bella smiled "God, Jacob, what are they feeding you on that rez, steroids? You're huge."

Jacob laughed "Wouldn't seem so drastic if you came around more."

Bella rolled her eyes. " I will, soon. But isn't your school, like, ten miles that way?" She huffed.

"Just here buying this for the Rabbit. I'm almost done with the rebuild. Gotta come take a ride when it's done."  Bella quickly remembering the brunette behind her beckoned her forwards.

" Um Jacob meet Alex, Alex meet Jacob. He's and old friend of mine from the Rez." Bella introduced them. Alex smiled at Jacob while Jacob looked at her with curiosity, quickly composing himself he turned once again towards Bella.

"Oh, and hey, happy birthday. Your dad told my dad. So..." He quickly handed her a dream catcher. "I saw it the other day and thought of you - it catches bad dreams."

Bella smiled toward him gratitude showing on her face. "This, I need. It's great." Edward coughed getting the attention of the three teenagers.

" The bell's about to ring." He said in monotone. Jacob gives Edward an amiable smile, with just a hint of snark. As Jacob bids goodbye to the teenagers his gaze stays a bit to long on Alex. Both teenagers looking at each other until Bella coughed. Both teenagers made their ways. Bella released a laugh at Alex raising her eyebrows. Alex playfully shoving their shoulders.

"You're lucky its your birthday." Alex joked.

Alex had separated from her new found friends to go to her locker she silently hid some weapons in time for a time of emergency still staying with some of them in her purse. She knew fork was infested with  supernatural. A coven of vampires and a pack of wolves, that's why she moved with her father to Forks to get rid of the threats. She didn't know yet who the enemy where since her father had wanted her to stay out of it.

She quickly went to her first period begging for the day to go faster. She hasted that when she was in California school seemed  endless.  She had skipped a year because of her grades shew as an honor roll student. who would think someone lie her would have time to concentrate on studies. Alex had always shown much importance to her grades since they were  her future in a way.

The day quickly going by in a blink of an eye  the last bell sounded getting ready to go home and study she quickly made her way into the SUV. As she neared her home she saw that her dad's car wasn't home. She was home alone the perfect time to rest knowing that when her dad arrived it was practice time. A huntress needed to continue training in order to improve more each time. As she closed her eyed she had a feeling that moving into this town was going to change her life more   than  ever. She remembered when she was living with her dad family.

Where she started her training she remembered those exhausting days, where they trained her until exhaustion.  She was glad her body was more in shape this three years. With the body she had now she could hunt perfectly. Slowly she fell into deep sleep.

"This is just starting" was the last thing she heard before falling asleep.
