Calum's POV
3 months later

Me and Luke sat in Alexa's room. The same old routine.

Luke sat there scrolling through his phone as I sipped on my coffee.

When I put my coffee down I petted her hair and held her hand.

"Baby if you can hear me I need you to wake up. Please babygirl I need you here" I sighed. But like usual got no response.

I looked at the tv as the movie titanic played. A nurse walked in and began to do his usual tests.

"Hmmm" he said

"What?" I questioned.

"She seems to be having some response but not a major one"

My eyes lit up as I saw Luke sit up.

"Could this be the day?"

"Maybe you never know" he replied while walking out.

Alexa's POV

The light. I see the light. Not the light you see in heaven. A different light. It's a bright light?

I heard calum's voice today. Why can't I just wake up. I need to. Ughhh this is so hard.

WAKE UP YOU STUPID DESPERATE BITCH! I yelled to myself.

Nothing's working. Zip not one thing. I can feel pain. Lots of it. Why is there this weird ringing sound?

I feel as though I'm coming above water. What the hell.

Calum's POV

I was holding her hand when she squeezed it. Was I imagining this? Straightening myself I look at Luke and say

"She moved"

"What?"

"Luke she moved"

"What do you mean?"

"Alexa squeezed my hand" I said as I saw her face move.

"Cal did you?"

"Yes I saw that"

She's waking up I thought to myself. Taking out my phone I dial Ashton's number.

A: "hey cal how is she"

"Ash get here asap we think she's waking up"

A:" I'm gonna pick up Mikey and we'll be there soon"

I hung up and brought her hand to my lips.

Come on baby just try for us please just try.
