chapter three

Sarah is looking outside the small window, watching the white clouds and trying to look down a bit of the picture below the vehicle she is riding in, it has been an hour since she sited on her seat with no one beside her, no manager, or even a make up artist or her hairstylist or her costume designer beside her, it is too awkward flying to the place she's not familiar with, she's not even on fly for an event or a concert overseas, she's thinking a lot, what happen lately is really a chaos and really a big mistake that she can't understand why it ended in such situation, she loves her career, so much, she’s enjoying it, singing, dancing, shooting, mc-ing, being with her co-stars etc. But those were all gone in such a petty article and a video that turns her life upside down, to think of it, it's not a big deal to her, it can be forgotten in months anyway but the other party can't accept all the scandalous article about them, the feedbacks are really bad for a rookie like Kris.

~flashback~

"Wait,,i can't...why do i need to do it? we already announced that we are in a special relationship, my fans already accepted that,,,sarah rebuted...

"you have to,,,that chinese boy's company demanded it,,they hadn't overcome the rumors, that boy's career still not recovered yet,,,,her manager said...

"why do i care about that? and besides,,,is marrying me the solution to that? No! i can't do that,,,sarah refused, she stood up from her seat and about to leave but she was stopped,,,

"you have no choice,,the contract that we've signed has the agreement of marrying him if engagement will not take down the chaos,,,so you have no choice,,,manager said, explaining the possible outcome of refusing to the demand,,

Sarah fell back down on her seat and tears fell down, she was strong before but now she's feeling too weak that she can't even save herself into this problem. She went into some issues about boys, about breaking ups and having rumored dating but she manage to save herself into those, but this one, why she cant run away into this, why she can't avoid it, why she can't even hid herself from this...

"sarah,,just do it,,,manager insisted,,

"but i don't want to leave my career, you know that music is my life,,,how about my fans,,sarah cried,,,

"just for a moment,,you can go back to your career anytime,,and besides,,sarah, to tell you the truth, some of your contract had been cancelled and some of your endorsement had been cut,,,you have no choice,,your career was saved yes but it's not 100 percent,,,your projects diminished in number, the movie that you supposed to be cast in was cancelled,,manager finally revealed,,,

"what? but i thought you said~~~sarah was speechless hearing all of this heartbreaking news,,

"i'm sorry,,we thought too, but the other day,,i received all the cancellations and terminations of your incoming projects..and your flight is in two weeks,,you better explain everything to your parents,,,don't worry you can still come back to the company,, our CEO didnt cancelled your contract yet,, and there are some commercial endorsement ongoing still,,,manager said apologetically and leave the girl alone,,,,

~end flashback~

She wiped her tears, she didn't notice how long she is crying already, the person beside her even asked, if she is fine, but she only nods her head and made her forced smile and turn back to the window. Crashing her mind about the things she left in her country especially her parents makes herself sad even more, her thought pictured out her parents reaction when she told them that she is marrying the rumored boy on the video. They can't believe it of course but they can't do anything as Sarah explains everything.
