Yogi's violet eyes wandered across the room until they landed on Gareki, his best friend.

"Gareki, care to come visit Nai with me?" I asked. He nodded, making his way towards me.

A huge grin took over my face as I threw my arm around his shoulders. "You're so short" I complained hunching to match his height.

He rolled his eyes shoving me off him, but I still noticed the small smile that was tugging at his lips. Rare but beautiful.

"Stop joking around and let's go" I could hear the laugh in his voice as he said that.

"Stop pretending that you don't find our height difference hilarious" I nudged his shoulder with mine.

"I really don't" he shot a glare at me. Great just when I thought I was breaking through his cold exterior.

Finally we made it to the room where Nai was staying, we barged through the door to find Nai and Tsukomo playing a friendly card game.

"Hi!" I cheered speeding over to them and throwing my body down in between them, pulling the two into a group hug.

"I haven't seen you in ages, what's it been a day?" I asked thinking back to when I saw them last.

"We saw you at breakfast" Tsukomo said, laughing along with Nai. Faintly I also heard Gareki's laugh among them. It left my stomach in butterfly's, his laugh truly was somthing to treasure.

Hirito stood at the doorway, smoothing down his already crisp suit and straightening his top hat.

"Afternoon" he greeted politely, pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose.

"Hello!" We all greeted him.

"Yogi, Gareki I have an assignment for the both of you" he looked to us both then walked down the hallway, motioning with his hand for us to follow.

"What do you think it'll be?" I asked as me and Gareki walked down the hallway after Hirito.

"Does it matter?" Gareki's voice was cold.

"No I guess not" I frowned, giving Gareki a sideways glance.

Once we had our mission we were off. I laughed as the wind whipped through my golden hair, jumping from the ship always was fun for me.

"Gareki, aren't you having fun?" I asked, my feet hitting the ground I quickly turned to look at Gareki who landed soon after me.

"We're here to find the lost Niji, nothing big" Gareki said glancing around the grasslands around us.

"Where do you think the little sucker is?" I asked raising my hand to my forehead to block the sun.

"I'm not sure" Gareki said, his beautiful blue eyes scanned the land before him.

A flash of a small white creature caught my eye.

"Hey! I think I see it!" I gasped, running after it, Gareki's foot steps closing in behind me.

"On three we both go to grab it" Gareki said as we ran side by side.

"One"
"Two"
"Three" we both yelled and sprung at the creature, missing it completely.

I crashed into the soft green grass, Gareki's body landing right on top of me.

"Oof" I let out a gasp of air. "Your pretty frickin' heavy" I complained.

He picked his chest off of mine, his arms planted at the sides of my head. I looked up into his deep blue eyes.

"Too bad, huh" Gareki said as he stared down at me.

Only then did I realize how close we where, I could feel his minty breath fanning onto my face.

It seemed as if our faces were getting closer and closer.

"Gareki" I whispered just before his lips touched mine.

I was stunned for a moment before I could do anything, I leaned further into the kiss.

All I could feel where fireworks in my stomach as our lips collided, his hands where tangled in my blonde hair, tugging at it softly.

I couldn't concentrate, and I didn't want to think of what we were doing. We where ruining our friendship with this kiss, and I don't know what's to come after the kiss.

All I know is that his lips are really soft.
