"Rose will you come hunting with me?" Alice whined.I sat down on the lounge room couch. I could still faintly smell the bleach. There was nothing else to do at 5 am and Emmett was upstairs with Edward and Jasper. The sun was beginning to rise. The sunlight shined through the glass walls and onto my skin. Alice sat on the love seat with a magazine in her hand. We both sparkled in the light. Our skin caused the room to look like a disco and we were the ball. Carlisle left early for work. Esme was probably upstairs reading or cleaning Carlisle's office for him.
"Ugh okay." I stood up.
I wanted to get out of the room and away from the smell of bleach. Alice smiled and I noticed her eyes, they were black with thirst. My eyes were most likely the same.
"My throat has been burning all night. I didn't want to leave Jasper. He didn't want to go hunting after what happened with Bella." Alice spoke.
"I would have gone hunting with you. Emmett would have stayed with Jasper." I smiled.
"Thank Rose, but I didn't want to disturb you. It sounded like Emmett and you were having fun." She giggled.
I knew what she meant by 'fun'. I dropped my head with embarrassment and laughed along with her.
"Yeah we did have fun. A lot of fun." I chuckle.
"Nice." Alice stood up, "Come on, let's go."
Alice sped at immortal speed out of the room. I followed behind her. We were out in the woods in a matter of moments. We ran deep into the forest and my senses already started to pick up animal noises and smells. We stopped once we were about 1 kilometer away from the house. We slowly paced around in a circle, picking up any smells or sounds. Then I heard the cry of a deer coming from the south-east. I whipped my head around. Alice stood beside me and we both ran to where we could strongly smell the deer. We stopped in our tracks and I caught a glimpse of the moving deer from in between the trees. There was another smell.
"Grizzly." Alice whispered.
She was right. It was a grizzly bear. It smells like Emmett after he's come home from his hunts. Maybe that's what the deer was running away from.
"You take the grizzly i'll take the deer." Alice said with a low tone.
I nodded my head in response. Alice speed off to the east and in a matter of moments I heard the crying of a dying deer. The sound didn't phase me. I run to where the grizzly sent was. Then I was face-to-face with the animal. It stood up on it's hind legs and grew a few feet taller. It stood a lot more higher than me. The bear let out a growl and showed its sharp teeth. Though my teeth were a lot more sharper. The grizzly bear attempted to swipe his claws along my chest but I dodged them. I wasn't in the mood to play games and i'm not the type of vampire to play with my food. I jumped on the bear and it went falling to the ground. I stood over the top of it as it cried in pain. I could feel the venom flowing through my mouth ready for blood. This animal was too big to kill with one bite. I had to make the bear weak. I slammed my foot on its legs. With a loud crack the grizzly's legs were broken. The bear's right legged bone sliced through its skin and was made visible. Blood poured out of the slice and made my hunger grow strong. The bear was weak and was already exhausted. I bent down and pressed my teeth into its neck, draining out the blood. I felt the substance pour into my mouth. I pulled away once all the blood was drained out of the animal. I felt instant relief rush through my body. I whipped away any left over blood from my mouth. My hair began to fall out of its bun and fall in front of my face. I tied my hair back into place as Alice walked over and stood in front of me. I smiled as I gazed up at her. Her eyes were back to their usual color, golden.
"It's nice to not have a burning sensation stuck in my throat." Alice said.
"Yeah." I agreed.
I stood up and walked over to beside her.
"Let's go back. Emmett and Jasper would probably be wondering were we are." I spoke.
Alice nodded and we raced back to the house. The trees flew past us as we ran. The morning cool breeze flowed onto our bare skin. A few moments past and we arrived back at the house. We walked up the front porch and Alice opened the door as we walked in. We walked into the lounge room. The TV was on and playing the morning news. Emmett, Jasper and Edward were all in the room. Edward sat at the piano with his hands on the keys. Emmett stood up along with Jasper. Emmett made his way over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I smell grizzly." He cocked an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Alice and I went hunting." I pecked his lips.
He pulled a blonde strand of my hair out of my face.
"You have blood in you hair." He chuckled.
"Ops." I smiled.
I heard footsteps walking out to the door way. I looked past Emmett's shoulder and saw Edward walking out of the room. I shrugged it off.
"So Rosie..." Emmett says with a pleading tone.
"Yes?"
"Can we play chess?"
"Nope." I shake my head, "you know I don't like to play chess."
I hate chess. It's just boring to me. I used to like it but I just got sick of it over time.
"How about we watch TV?" I dragged Emmett to the sofa.
I looked around the room to see that Alice and Jasper weren't around. I was to focused with Emmett to even notice. I leaned back on the sofa, relaxing onto Emmett's chest. I felt Emmett's head lean on my head. He kept me in his arms. I turned beside me to the left to see the TV remote on the sofa arm. I picked up the remote and changed the channel from the morning news to my baby shows. I enjoyed watching baby shows and pregnancy documentaries.
"Ugh really Rose! Your baby shows!" Emmett whined.
"Sh. Please Emmy-bear. Let me watch it." I turned to look up at his face.
He pouted. I made a puppy dog face, begging him to let me watch my baby shows. He rolled his eyes.
"Fine. But just one show." Emmett gave in.
"Thanks." I turned my attention back to the screen.
