Chapter seven: Murder mystery

It was morning when Charlotte awakened. Her body felt awful, but worst was her head. She gotten up and looked in the mirror. She couldn't believe what she had seen.

Her right eye was replaced by some sort of reptilian eye. She couldn't see out of it, even though she had poor vision already. She looked down to find Little Hat nuzzling her leg. His left back leg was robotic, at least he could still stand.

Charlotte had gotten ready and went into the kitchen where her parents were waiting for her. She quickly closed her right eye. "I'm walking today, see you after school." She said as she ran out the door.

She had made it to school and her classroom where only a couple of people were waiting. The boy who sits behind her, Polly, and Shoe. "Hey Charlotte how's the new-" Charlotte quickly punched Shoe in the face. "You ass" Charlotte usually never said any words that were considered bad but she couldn't help it. Shoe had gotten back up. "Aw... Come on it's not that-" Another punch. "Stay down you peice of garbage."

She went to her desk and waited for the other students to arrive. "Strange..." Said Trash. "Teach Ain't here." After a couple of minutes of still no Mr. Thankinstien, the lights went off. A scream could be heard as the lights went back on. "Oh Odd Bahboo is dead!" shouted Oka.

Boobah was on the floor with a bloody knife next to him and I large hole in his chest. Just then Mr. Thankinstien came into the room. "Sorry class I was caught up in- What the fuck?!" He yelled. "C-can you s-save him?!" said the boy with the tree growing out of his arm. "No, Which one of you cock suckers did it?" No one said anything. "Fine I'll let you figure it out, if a culprit isn't caught then you guy's are 'graduating' early." He said as he went out the room.

Everyone's faces went pale besides Charlotte. "Alright who did it?" Said Jamie. "You think it's gonna be as simple as that?" Said Polly. "I think we all know who the real culprit is." Said Charlotte. "Really that fast?!" Said Alexandra. "It's Shoe, the little psycho would do something like this." Answered Charlotte. "Oh really? Well who's the girl would want revenge one the person who annihilated her?" He said. "Now hold on-" Started Alexandra. "But there's also Alexandra, who doesn't care if a person dies."

Soon the whole class argued. "Everyone shut up!" Yelled Charlotte. "Look we'll figure it out though the process of elimination and the clues we are left with." She wrote everyone's name on the chalkboard. "You three!" She pointed at the tan boy in the back, tree boy, and the girl in the dress with flowers on it. "Names please." "Zachery..." Said tree boy. "Lily." Said the girl. "Neil!" Said the finale boy. She wrote these names down.

Charlotte then had crossed out two names. It was Oka's and Zachery's. "Wait how are they innocent!?" Shouted Polly. "They wouldn't be able to kill anyone, plus they seemed close friends with Bahboo so it wouldn't make sence." She responded. "Besides now I really know who killed him." Everyone let out a gasp. "It was Izzy and Ivan!" Said Charlotte. The class was silent for about a minute then Charlotte crossed out the two name's.

"What?!" Yelled Jamie. "They would have gone back by now if it was really them." Said Charlotte. "G-gone... Back?" Said Kat. "Yes gone back, as in they're time travelers." "How did you know that?" They said at the same time. "Easy, while I was at Alexandra's house she told me why everyone was here, well besides a few." Everyone looked at Alexandra infuriated.

Next Charlotte crossed off Xalye's name. "She would be to small to carry the knife." Charlotte said before anyone could interrupt her. She went up to Alexandra and searched her thoroughly. "Not a sign of frosting." She crossed Alexandra's name off.

  She crossed off Kat's name. "Kat would likely use some sort of Anime type wepon, so it wouldn't make sence just to stab him." She said walking up to Neil. "Now why are you here?" "Well I suck people's blood!" He said flipping his hair back. "Like a vampire?" "Nope, Those aren't real, But people who can only drink blood are." She went back and crossed out his name. "There is no sign of blood lost, so he wouldn't make sence." Said Trash. "Thanks for answering for me." Said Charlotte.

She crossed out Shoe's name. "But you said he was guilty!" Said Jamie. "I did, but I realize that tortures people rather then kill them directly. She looked up the names that were left. Quail, Jamie, Polly, Trash, Lily. Quail was the top suspect, since he has show that he's quite good with a dagger. She looked at the body again and crossed out Jamie. "I remember she used a long distance wepon, plus Bahboo is stronger then she is."

Now they're are three people still on this board that I do not know why they are here." She looked at Lily, Polly, and Quail. "Alright here." Said Polly. Both of her arm's went in a liquid form and reshaped into gun's. "So you would likely-" "Yeah yeah Sherlock." Polly interrupted.

"Aw Come on you really don't think I did it?!" Said Trash. "Well everyone here has at least killed one person, even you Trash." Said Shoe. 'Everyone?!' Thought Charlotte. "Now Quail, Lily, please tell me why you're here." Charlottes said. They were both quite. "Fine, be that way. Trash, like Jamie you use long distance wepons and are not as strong as Boobah. Quail, you have nothing to gain, and besides why would you kill such an none important person?" "He's gonna to be an impotant character soon!" Shouted Alexandra. "Lily, I saw you using a Syse when we were fighting." Lily's face paled. "Now please tell us why you killed Boobah." Everyone's mouth dropped open. Lily was a sweet, smart, and a caring girl. Why would she ever kill a poor boy?

"Okay it's not my fault it was his time!" She said. "Time?" Said Charlotte. "Yeah, like time to die. I had to kill him because it's my job. Since I'm the reaper of this town." She answered. "That's right I reap the souls of the town Deadvonia! I was chosen by the main reaper himself, and it just so happened to be Boobah's time."

Everyone was in shock. Trash got out his phone and called Mr.Thankinstein to tell him everything. When the teacher arrived everyone was shouting at him. "Oh, Okay she's off the hook." He said. "What?!" Said Charlotte. "Well it's her job and it was Boobah's time." he replied.

Soon Boobah's body was removed from school and the school held a little funeral. Nobody really came besides Shoe, Oka, Zachery, Trash, Alexandra, and Charlotte. "Hey at least you solved the case!" Said Trash. "Here's a sticker!" Said Alexandra placing a 'Good' sticker on Charlotte's shoulder. "Ha thanks you guy's and hold on Alexandra, what did you mean back at the classroom about Boobah being an important character?" Asked Charlotte. "Oh you'll see Charlotte, you'll see."
