Everything Wrong With Maze Runner Fan Fictions

Eh, Don't You Think the Box was A Bit Too Much?

(Curtosy of @Wonderful_Oreos for her "The Girl Greenie" Fan-Fiction, where you get to hear my opinions on her work, of course, it's a good story, just with many clichés)

- In all Maze Runner Fan-Fictions, everyone always starts with the damn box, I'm pretty sure, if you read the books or AT LEAST watched the movie, we all know they came up in a box. Forget it, we don't need you repeating that crap.

- Dude, do you know how many Newt x OC Fan-Fictions are out there? I barely saw ONE Thomas x Teresa, or just Thomas x Anyone, I mean come on guys, he's the main character! (And Newt dies in the 3rd Book anyway)

- Again, get some new ideas. It's like you just re-wrote the book so instead of Thomas, your "OC" is the hero who gets them out of the maze

Uh. No.

- Okay, I get us girls need recognition, but do all the Fan-Fictions have to be about how some random chick popped up in the Maze and suddenly everyone loves her?

- Stay with the damn plot. If not, make a Fan-Fiction that has nothing to do with Group A

- Eh, whatever happened to Group B? Like, I have never seen a fan-fiction about Group B.

- What about Minho? Seriously, I am tired of wasting hours of time reading crappy Newt x OC Fan-Fictions, NEXT!

- Okay seriously? "It's a girl!" Cliché moment much? That's Teresa's thing. No. It's pretty obvious, the human being before you is of another gender, no need to yell it across the Glade just because.

- Eh, I know Newt is supposed to be British and everything. But you don't need to make him say "bloody" every two freaking sentences. Again, you're making it cliché.

- Of course, the girl always wants to scream 'Cause she's so scared. Every heard of not stereotyping everything?

- Dude, you just said you wanted to scream, kind of weird that suddenly you want to prove your "worth" when after that, you again said that you were scared as hell

- "Because I know you're afraid," Well no dip sherlock, pretty sure she just said that 0.43667 seconds ago.

- Obviously, the author must be going by the Movie Plot, for which in the book, the new Gladers actually remember their names. Fascinating, right?

- Blondie and Dark Boy? Okay, if you're going by the movie, shouldn't Newt be a light ginger or something? And second, isn't that technically racist by calling Alby, Dark Boy?

- So suddenly, just because she's a girl, you immediately have to lock her up? You didn't even prove she was dangerous or anything! At least Teresa had a note, and said "Everything is going to change" in creepy voice before she went back to sleep. Like, come on.

- "All the people immediately vanished" That seems a bit unlikely, seeing as 1, there's like fifty Gladers, 2, they're all boys, and 3, pretty sure they didn't all disappers into thin air, or this book would be pointless because there is no point to have a maze or anything really

- I'm pretty sure, you can be calm for a few minutes. Isn't it obvious, giant doors covered in ivy leading to a dark passage way = Bad? Is it just me, or have all the characters become idiots?

- "Maze opening? Well that sure doesn't explain alot." No dip sherlock, I thought you'd step up your game Newt.

- Then we have the uncomfortable positions, really should've put a mature label, because I don't think the PG-13 gave the 5 years olds enough of a warning

- The dark who? Can someone please explain who the fudge is the dark boy? I mean, for all I know, you could be referencing Minho for his Dark hair

- I'm pretty sure they would've explained what the hell a Greenie is, when YOU WEREN'T RUNNING TOWARDS THE MAZE DOORS YOU IDIOT

- "His voice really intimidated me" Typical, bad boy, nerd girl moment. I thought this was a Maze Runner Fan-Fiction.

- "You don't have to be afraid" There was the cliché moment I was waiting for.

- Why so you like his name? I dunno, because your thr OC in this story, and you have to fall in love with him. Failing miserably at foreshadowing, btw. Oh wait, the cover and the title gave it away.

- That irreverent author note that has nothing to do with the story
