Forest

After I left the city I headed to the forest when it would be a good place to spend the night.On the way to the forest I had hid behind a giant rock that happened to be beside the road.Since along the road where soldiers that where talking.I tried to listen to what they where talking about but all I could pick up was Cartez.I just sat there stunned, Cartez is the one city that is full of people that can't even support themselves.The city doesn't have water near and every week i have heard that they get water and food supplies to last the week.Since the land there doesn't have any spots where food can be planted or even grown.

After the soldiers left,I quickly dashed into the forest.Right when I entered the forest something felt very odd like an evil presence.I also realized it seemed like not a lot of animals were out, witch is very unusual for a forest.Not even a Carnal was lurking around since there the beasts that are most active in the day.After all a Carnal has no armor but to make up for that they have speed.Which means that can easily kill something if its not to big and easily get away.

Soon enough there was a rustling in a bush near me.I stared right at it and got into a attack position ready to attack whatever came out of the bush.Right away a Carnal came and stared at me.I stared back at it not wanting it to run since this is a good chance to get dinner.It then charged me and when it got near me I struck it with my knife and it had enough time to latch onto my arm and bite me.After it died I cut it up and put some meat in a bag I had.I grabbed a cloth and wrapped it around my arm till I found a water source.

I started looking for a water source.Of course I knew it would be hard to find a water source in this big forest.But I guess I happened to get lucky because in 5 minutes of walking I found a water source.I took off the cloth and sat on the ground cleaning the blood off.Once I did that I started setting up a campfire.

Finding logs was hard enough but there was even more trouble just starting a fire, since the logs were still dense from yesterdays rain.After the fire finally started I took hard things out of my bag and put them off to the side.Then I took out a blanket I had and laid it out and put my bag now full of soft things near one end.

Grabbing a stick, I started cooking the meat from earlier and eating.Soon enough the sun started setting and night creatures started coming out.I started getting ready for bed and I laid down staring at the fire thinking about out I should do tomorrow.

       Soon enough I got stuck on something.I looked around and saw it won't be long till they find me.

       I give up on running away.
