Chapter 4: Trust

Hey guys! I've been updating a lot...this is the second or third time today haha. So what do you guys think of Jellal? Can he be trusted? What do you guys think of Erza? Should she trust him? Here's chapter 4!

Chapter 4: Trust

P..O.V. Natsu

I was arguing with Gray on what was better, ice or fire, when I heard erza yelling from outside the guild.

"I CAN'T TRUST YOU! THIS GUILD IS MY FAMILY! I WILL DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT THEM! IF THAT MEANS KILLING YOU, THEN SO BE IT! YOU'VE ALREADY TAKEN SIMON AWAY, I WON'T LET YOU TAKE THEM!!"

I turned to Gray and Lucy. They had heard it too. We all jumped up, but I was the first one out the door. "Erza!" I yelled. Oh God, please not let her be in trouble... I thought to myself.

When I saw them, Erza was PISSED OFF and yelling at...JELLAL?!?!?! What the hell is he doing here?! He knws not to mess with Fairy Tail!

"WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE?!?!" I shouted.

"Natsu, stay out of this!" Erza turned to me.

"No! He messed with Fairy Tail, he made you CRY Erza! Now PLEASE explain to me what's going on!" I yelled at her.

Erza looked shocked. I never yelled at her like that. Come to think of it, I never yell at anyone like that. What can I say? No one messes wiith my guild! "N-Nat...su..." She barley mumbled.

"Natsu Dragneel, nice to see you again." Jellal called for my attention with a grin on his face. Not a smug one, just a regular grin...weird.

I glared at him. "You aren't welcome here."

"I see. That's why I came to talk to Erza...I don't have any intentions on disturbing your guild." He looked sincere.

"Erza shouldn't have to threaten you...to protect us..." I said slowly. "We should be the ones...protecting her!"

I ran towards Jellal but someone blocked my path. It was...Erza?!?! "Erza, what are you doing?! Get outta my way! I'll teach him a lesson for threatening the guild!!" I tried to get past her.

"Natsu, stop." She had tears in the corners of her eyes. "He didn't threaten the guild. I was just making sure he got the idea of what would happen if he ever tried anything. He isn't...the same Jellal you met. He remembers. He would never try to hurt me or the guild. If he did, I wouldn't hesitate to kill him on the spot." She had a hold of my sleeve and she barley whispered the words.

"Don't argue with her for once, Flame Brain." Gray growled. "She knows what's best." That's when i realized Lucy and Gray were trying to hold my back by my arms.

"Trust her." Lucy commanded. Her voice was shaky. I looked at her, she was crying...

Seeing Lucy cry was like having my heart ripped out. Why do I feel that way? When I see erza cry, I get infuriated and want to woop someone's ass, but when Lucy cries, it kills me and it makes me want to kill whoever made her cry.

I relaxed. "Okay, I trust you." I nodded and looked Erza in the eye. She smiled softly.

P.O.V. Jellal

Erza was...protecting me? What did the pink-haired dragon slayer want with me anyway? I came here for Erza, not him.

"Natsu. Lucy. Gray. Erza. I would never in a million years hurt a member of your guild. If I even thought about it, erza would kill me in two seconds flat. I have no desire to hurt people anymore." I ment every single word I said.

"I trust you...for the most part. Let's all go inside, it looks like it will rain." Erza grabbed my wrist and we all entered the guild, Natsu following close behind.
