Chapter 5: Feelings

P.O.V. Erza

"Natsu, stop." I didn't want natsu to hurt Jellal. WHY? I didn't care for him anymore...I don't know why I started to tear up. I never cry in front of my guildmates. It shows weakness. I never cry in fornt of anybody, actually. "He isn't the same Jellal that you met. He remembers what he did. He wouldn't try to hurt me or the guild. If he did, I wouldn't hesitate to kill him on the spot."

"Don't argue with her for once, Flame Brain. She knows what's best." Gray growled.

"Trust her." Lucy said seriously. She was crying...

Natsu stared at Lucy then at the ground. Finally he looked me in the eye and said "Okay, I trust you."

I smiled gently. "Let's go inside. It looks like it will rain." I grabbed Jellal's wrist and pulled him inside with us. Natsu was staring Jellal down  from behind making sure he doesn't try anything.

We walked in and everyone fell silent. Mirajane was the first to speak.

"Er...za...what's going on?" She eyed Jellal suspicislly. "If I would have known it was him, I would have thrown him out. I didn't recognize him with the hood though."

"Get Master in here A.S.A.P." I payed no attention to her statement.

"Uh...right..." She slowly walked off to go find Makarov.

I looked around at everybody. "WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE STARING AT?! GO ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS!!" I yelled.

Everybody went about talking to eachother.

"Wow, you sure got them whipped." Jellal chuckled.

"S-Class mage. They don't mess with us." I replied emotionless.

"You called, Erza?" Makarov was standing in front of me, then he saw who's wrist I was holding and his expresssion changed from worried to infuriated.

"Master, before you say anything, let me explain." I slowly explained everything that had happened in the last 15 minutes.

He nodded slowly as if he was thinking of something. "I trust you, Erza. I trust that if he ever becomes a threat to the guild, you will have the ability to strike him down."

Yes, Master. He won't be a threat. If he so much as thinks about hurting the guild, he will never see daylight again." I confirmed. Truth is, I wouldn't be able to do it. I can't kill a person.

"Makarov, I don't want to hurt you or any other member of Fairy Tail. I was under Zeref's spell, as most of you know. The spell was broken and I regained my memories. That's how I remembered Erza. It was the color of her hair." Jellal looked at me and I bllushed.

"Very well, Jellal. We will keep a very close eye on you until we are sure we can trust you." Makarov nodded and walked off with Mirajane.

"Remember, Jellal, I will strike you down in an instant if you betray us." I said in a low voice so only he could hear.

"I understand." He nodded and squeezed my hand.
