Moving on

Today was the day Charlie and her mum will move from the small country side to one of the biggest city's in the Uk.
"Mum what if I don't fit in with everyone."
"Charlie honey don't worry you will be absolutely fine." Charlie's mum said hugging her.
They both loaded their furniture into the moving van and put their clothes in a suitcase and put them both in the boot of the car. It was a long journey to London.
When she got in the car she had a message from her ex boyfriend, joe, it said:

It has only come up to this moment where o have realised how much I miss being with you. Charlie I have never loved someone like I did you.

Charlie stared at the message and replied.

Me- I'm sorry joe it's too late I'm leaving not just you but everyone I didn't tell you cuz I was scared of hurting you. But don't get me wrong I loved you more than anything but you broke my heart and I will miss all of you but I have to move joe, I have no choice xx

Joe- why didn't you tell me 

Me- I'm sorry joe I know I would have hurt you and I didn't want to do that to you or anybody so I just left it a secret. I'm sorry you don't understand how much I didn't want to leave any of you. You can come and visit but you need to understand we can never be in a relationship again I won't be able to trust you xx

Once Charlie had sent the message she felt a warm tear stream down her face.
"Honey are you ok?" Her mum asked.
"No mum its joe."
"What's he done?"
"He just messaged me saying how much he misses me. Mum I miss him too but I can't trust him."
"Oh Charlie."
"I don't know what to do mum what shall I do tell me."
"Well to be honest if you miss him then give him one more chance. Everyone deserves a second chance."
"Well why didn't you give dad one then?"
"Charlie honey I gave him too many chances."
"Ok I will give it a try."

Charlie looked at her Phone and joe had replied.
Joe- please Charlie give me a second chance. 3year is too much to waste xx.

Me- ok I will give you a second chance. Your right we were together for so much we can't waste what we had. I missed you so much joe.

Joe- I missed you too.

"Charlie were here!."
"Oh my god the house is massive."
"I know it's great isn't it."

Charlie messages joe back and said.
Me- joe I have got to go were here I will call you later ok xx

Joe-ok baby bye xx

Charlie locked her phone and helped her mum take everything in the house. The moving van was already there. They had quiet a lot of stuff so Charlie's mum told her to ask the neighbours if they could help.
She walked up the pathway and knocked the door. A very tall boy answered.
"Hello can I help." The boy at the door said.
"Oh um hi me and my mum have just moved next door and we have some things that need a very strong muscular man like you to help us."
"Ok I will just get changed I'm still in my pyjamas. You can come in."
Charlie walked in and the boy showed her to the living room.
"Oh I'm Marcus by the way."
"I'm Charlie."
"Marcus who's that?" Marcus's mum shouted from the kitchen.
"It's the new neighbour."
Marcus shouted.
While Charlie waited for Marcus to get dressed she thought to her self
'Wow he is so handsome. His eyes are beautiful.'
"Ok I'm ready come on."
"Ok." Charlie replied she followed Marcus out.
"Marcus where you going."
His mum asked.
"I'm going to help Charlie and her mum move there things."
"Ok don't be too long."
"Ok."
When they walked out Marcus said.
"So where did you move from?"
"We moved from Cardiff."
"Cool why did you move here tho?"
"My mum and dad split up."
"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. Parents splitting up isn't hard. Believe me I know how it feels."
"It's just hard to not think about it I can't see my dad cuz he is so far away."
Charlie started crying so Marcus opened his arms letting Charlie hug him.
"It's ok I felt like that at first but then I just realised that it will be ok in the end. My mum and dad aren't together but I got use to it."
Charlie looked up and wiped her eyes. By the time they had walked back to Charlie's house the moving van had gone.
"Well looks like your mum has sorted everything out. Do you want to come to mine for a bit?"
"Will your mum mind?"
"No she'll be ok with it."
They both walked back up Marcus's drive way into the house.
"Mum I'm back."
"Ok."
His mum was still in the kitchen baking a cake.
"Hi Marcus you ok." Heidi asked "Yeah I'm fine were you going?"
"Into town with Natasha."
"Ok see you later. Oh who's this with you?"
"It's Charlie. She's the new neighbour."
"Oh hi Charlie I'm Heidi Marcus's sister and this is Natasha also Marcus's sister."
"Hi Heidi, hi Natasha."
"Hi Charlie." Natasha said.
They both walked out into town.
"Your sisters are really nice."
"I know."
Marcus and Charlie sat down in the living room.

Charlie's phone went off.
Mum- Charlie where are you??
Me- I'm at Marcus's house x
Mum- who's Marcus??
Me-the neighbour
Mum-ok don't spend too long there joe messaged me asking for the address so he can come and see you.
Me-ok

"Marcus?"
"Yeah."
"I'm sorry but I'm going to have to leave my boyfriend is coming down to see me."
"Oh you have a boyfriend?"
"Yeah we just got back together."
"Oh ok."
Marcus was actually quite disappointed he really likes Charlie.

"Thank you for letting me in."
"Oh Charlie?"
"Yeah what's the matter."
"Are you doing anything tomorrow?"
"No why?"
"Well I was wondering would you like me to show you around London?"
"Yeah I would really like that."
Charlie got up and hugged Marcus. Marcus stared at her and leaned in for a kiss.
*BEEP BEEP.
Marcus jumped.
"Oh that's my boyfriend. Bye Marcus I'll see you tomorrow. And by the way thanks."
"That's ok see you tomorrow."
"Byeeee."
