Chapter 12

Elise pov
I had been sitting in this dirty old cage for at least half an hour and bill was still down the corridor somewhere.
Just being stuck here with nothing going on felt like I was dying of boredom.

I started to hear a loud set of footprints coming up some stairs down the corridor with what sounded like two quieter pairs coming up the stairs at the same time. It must be bill. I wonder who else was with him.

Bill walked into the room happily and came over to my cage. Walking alongside him was a werewolf. She looked to be about 15 to 16 years old whith a shiny red coat wearing a green jacket and some old jeans. She had a sad yet angry look in her eyes.

" girls I'd like you to meet each other. Red this is Elise and Elise this is Red" bill said cheerfully. why did he look so happy? I'd known him long enough to know when he acted like this something was about to happen.

" ah and now for my favourite part of bringing in a new pet, the branding" he said excitedly to me as he began to open the door of my cage and pull me out. I was scared out of my wits for what he meant by branding. In his sick, twisted mind branding could mean chopping of body parts. Hopefully it wouldn't be anything too bad.

When bill got me out of my cage he began to examine around my shoulders and my thighs, probably deciding where to place the brand. He settled o my right thigh. " here looks like a good spot" he said to the werewolf. He left her to guard me for a moment while he went over to his kitchen.

Fishing through one of his drawers he pulled out what looked like a triangle cookie cutter with a flat plate on the topside and knife like edges. He walked back over to me and began to position the shape onto my thigh. When he decided on where to put the mark the werewolf bit down on the metal plate on top of the triangle, digging it into my flesh.

I cried out in pain, rearing up and lashing my front hooves out in front of me. My hooves collided with bills chest and he stumbled and fell to the ground. Wiping his face and glaring at me angrily he said in an angry tone" oh, now your gonna pay."
