Hello Everyone! So this is the very first short story of mine that I have written and decided to share publicly with whoever would like to read it.
I got inspiration to write this story when I had been assigned to write an essay based on a topic of my choice for my English class. I had a week in which I could prepare for this, but unfortunately my 'writer's block' was in full swing during that time. Thankfully, the night before the first few drafts were due, I got the idea to write this story just as I was falling asleep! (lucky, right?).
It took me about an hour to write the entire thing, considering it is a short story... At first I was a little anxious about whether it was good enough to submit, but thanks to my amazing friends and their ever growing support for me, I let them read my story and all comments were great from all of them. That gave me the confidence to finally post this story publicly.
