It was getting late and still the two children hadn't come back yet. Getting up to go look for them, Claire and Daniel began walking towards the bushes only to see a panicked Colby sprinting towards them, fearful tears in his green orbs. 'Son, what's wrong?' asked Daniel. Colby struggled, 'Sarah... she... she is... gone.' 'What?!' screamed Claire and she was off.
Arriving at the bushes, Claire's face turned even whiter with shock, her knees shaking, causing her entire body to plummet to the ground. There lay her only daughter's body, floating in the river, her lungs filled with the water. She had drowned. Hot on her heels, Daniel saw the scene below him and enveloped his traumatised wife in his arms, both of them shaking and screaming out profanities to whoever was listening, waterfalls flowing carelessly out of their puffy eyes. There were ambulance sirens in the distance, but it was too late.
