Chap. 3: She has a BF?!

an hour and 45 minutes go by and Hiriana wakes up and stretches a bit before getting up. As she approaches her closet she feel's she's being watched, as she slowly opens her closet a shadow quickly moves to a dark corner in the closet to avoid the sunlight. She immediately recognizes Venatra and a question mark appears above her head.

Hiriana: whatcha doin in there Venny? O-O

Venatra: I took you home since you fell asleep at the diner last night, after I tucked you in I was going to leave for home...but there were...complications...

Hiriana: your a vamp aren't you? OoO

Venatra: O-O yes..

Hiriana: awesome!! *w*

Venatra: don't I scare you? O.O"

Hiriana: nope ^^ would you like an umbrella to keep the sun off of you?

Venatra: I...don't know..I've never walked in the daylight..

Hiriana: W-would you l-like to come w-with me t-to school? o///o

Venatra: sure! How big is the umbrella though? O.O

Hiriana: big enough ^w^

She hands him an umbrella and he casually opens it outside of the closet to block the sunlight, he stands underneath it nervously next to her and smiles weakly.

Venatra: thank you very much Hiriana, now I can freely walk around in the sun without turning to ash.

Hiriana: hihihi, your welcome Venny ^-^

Venatra: I suppose I'm gonna have to sneak outside without your grandparents seeing me...

Hiriana: you can jump down through my window, just make sure to use the umbrella at all times during the day okie? I don't want you to get hurt or die QoQ

Venatra: I won't don't worry ^^

He silently slips out the window and walks slowly towards the bus stop outside and smiles under the umbrella feeling somewhat free, Hiriana then gets new school clothes on and has her usual morning breakfast with kind grandparents who seemed unfazed by the death of her fake parents.

She walks outside and stands next to Venatra who silently stands next to her and she smiles up at him cutely making him get shy, as the bus arrives a lot of shocked faces look down seeing Venatra next to Hiriana and one girl's jaw drops in disbelief.

Venatra: my my it seems my presence has caused somewhat of a surprise, is your school a few blocks away?

Hiriana: yes its down that way, I'll meet you there okie?

Hiriana softly hugs Venatra catching him by surprise and he softly hugs her back, Hiriana then gets on her bus and takes her usual seat and waves goodbye to Venatra who smiles weakly and waves back at her under the umbrella. As she turns to the front of the bus she finds everyone looking at her and she blushes dark.

Hiriana: why's everyone staring at me?!

Later at school rumors of Hiriana having a scary boyfriend starts spreading like wildfire and some boys avoid her and some girls start to approach her, and the boys from the other night including her ex run away the moment they see her and hide. Feeling awkward she tries to make the best of her day and makes some new friends at lunch, after school finally ends she looks around and sees Venatra and she walks up to him smiling as she holds his hand without thinking causing many eyes to turn in her direction.

Hiriana: hi Venny! ^w^

Venatra: hi Hiriana, um are those your friends?

Hiriana: what you mean? OoO

Venatra points behind her and she looks back then at her hand as she blushes dark and lets go of his hand.

Hiriana: d-don't hold my hand so casually! >///>

Venatra: okie O-O

Venatra looks at her then he makes a scary twisted face at Jeriaka who happened to be walking out of the school and Jeriaka freaks out and starts running away fast in fear. Hiriana sees her ex flee and looks up at Venatra shyly and then down as she slowly puts his arm around her causing Venatra to blush and get shy.

Suddenly most of the students nearby go silent and Hiriana's friends Soria and Ayia slowly walk over and look at Venatra.

Soria: he's dark and mysterious... =-=

Ayia: dang I'm so jealous of you!! >////<

Hiriana then blushes crimson red as she hides her face in Venatras dark jacket, Venatra softly brushes her hair and looks at Hiriana's friends from underneath the umbrella with a happy smile.

Soria: is this your boyfriend Hiriana? =w=

Hiriana: n-no he's j-just a f-friend <///<

Ayia: awe come on, you sure? The way your snuggled in his arms says otherwise OwO

Hiriana: +///+ we're not dating

Venatra: I don't date underage girls..sorry we're just childhood friends ^^

Soria: oh, still it'd be cool if you two were dating owo

Ayia: if you won't date him I will! QwQ

Venatra: like I said, I don't date underage girls ō-õ

Ayia suddenly goes pale and falls to the ground and Soria starts laughing, Hiriana smiles weakly and snuggles in Venatra's arms more and he softly hugs her with one arm and smiles at Soria.

Soria: you just got rejected! xD

Ayia: it hurts Q-Q

Venatra: sorry but my answer will remain the same, Hiriana do you wanna go home?

Hiriana: i-if your w-with me then s-sure >///>

Soria: why you blushing Hiriana? OwO

Hiriana: n-none of your business!! >////<

She playfully shoves Soria away and quickly goes back and hugs Venatra's arm tightly blushing dark as she starts to walk home with him. Soria just smirks with Ayia lying down on her back

Soria: I have a hunch those two will be dating in the near future sooner then we'd expect

Ayia: why does no one wanna date meh?! Q.Q

Soria: you cry to easily xD

Ayia pouts with Soria laughing at the fact she'll be alone for a long time. Venatra softly holds Hiriana's hand on the way home and she blushes more while looking away shyly. As the sun goes down a vampire approaches Hiriana from behind only to get whacked by Venatra hard.

Vampire: how d...V-Venatra?!

Venatra: what do you think your doing?

Venatra glares at the vamire as Hiriana quickly hides in Venatra's arms and the vampire backs away and bows his head in fear and respect.

Vampire: I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to get between you and your young friend here.. I was just looking for a midnight snack thats all ^^"

Venatra: she is off limits, UNDERSTAND?!

Vampire: y-y-yes m-my lord, I understand p-perfectly. I'll b-be on m-my way now!

The vampire suddenly runs off scared and Venatra softly brushes Hiriana's hair back as he tries to comfort her. She looks up at him with fear in her eyes and he immediately hugs her and pats her back softly.

Venatra: don't worry they won't harm you I promise, I'll make sure of it.

Hiriana: Venny, C-can you, stay w-with me t-tonight? Q.Q I f-feel safer with y-you around.

Venatra blushes dark at her request and Hiriana cuddles in his arms more making him flustered and shy.

Venatra: j-just t-this once.....

Hiriana: yay! QwQ
