Chap. 4: Violent disapproval

As the two walk home Venatra lets out a sigh and Hiriana looks up at him curiously and tugs on his shirt sleeve.

He slowly looks down at her and smiles weakly as he pats her head casually causing her to blush.

Hiriana: w-what's wrong Venny? >////>

Venatra: I'm going to talk to your grandparents about me staying over..

Hiriana: n-no d-don't! T-they'll keep me inside the house for a long time and refuse to let me see my friends QoQ

Venatra simply pats her head again softly and she cuddles in arms cutely as she gives him the puppy look making him blush but he keeps a firm expression. When they finally reach Hiriana's grandparents house Venatra softly knocks on the front door and Hiriana immediately hugs her grandmother who looks at Venatra with an angry stare.

Hiriana's fears were true even though Venatra had good intentions the door suddenly slams shut, Venatra can only stand there and hear a worried grandmother giving Hiriana a strict curfew. He hears Hiriana go up to her room and his eyes get a demonic glare and anger burns inside him, reluctantly he turns and walks away under the umbrella he heads down the sidewalk alone.

As the sun goes down and his prolonged thirst gets stronger he gazes over at Hiriana's house and he slightly bares his fangs as he walks back over and knocks on the door to be greeted by the grandfather aiming a shotgun at him.

Venatra: (fake grandfather, fake grandmother, fake mother, fake father...she won't miss them then..)

Suddenly his eyes glow red which scares the grandfather into shooting randomly missing Venatra completely. Meanwhile upstairs Hiriana is crying hugging her pillow, almost asleep she hears gunfire downstairs and she sits up and hears a crash and some sort of splashing sound on the ground. As she approaches her bedroom door she hears a short scream and another splash sound and she nervously opens the door and walks down the stairs to see her fake grandparents both killed and ripped open.

She goes pale and slowly looks over to a smiling Venatra who looks at her innocently as he suddenly just walks over to the door and he holds the door open for her.

Venatra: ladies first ^^

Hiriana: w-what did you do?!

Venatra: I will not be kept away from something I want, anyone who withholds you from me will die. I...

He suddenly looks down and silent for 3 seconds then smiles again and beckons her to follow. She doesn't hesitate and she walks through the door to outside and Venatra moments later comes out and holds her hand making her blush dark and she looks away as she tries to hide it.

Venatra smiles kindly and walks with her down the sidewalk 2 blocks before realizing she's still in her pajamas and he puts his cloak around her, she looks up at him and then she blushes dark now aware of why he did that.

Hiriana: y-you could've told me I wasn't wearing proper clothing! >//~//<

Venatra: s-sorry....

He softly wraps his arms around her and she blushes dark and steams while just standing there, soon he picks her up and holds Hiriana in both arms smiling innocently. She steams more and starts to rant while he walks around the night like he owns it smiling proudly.

Venatra: your so cute when you blush Hiriana, I find it quite adorable OwO

Hiriana: s-shut up >/////> a-anyway where are we going?

Venatra: my place, you'll be staying with me from now on and going to school from there ok?

Hiriana goes crimson red and just stares at Venatra as she steams as thousands of thoughts go through her head, she then snuggles closer to Venatra in his arms while blushing more.

Hiriana: w-where will I be sleeping? <////<

Venatra: somewhere safe...I can't trust my clan alone with you since they see humans as food =_=

Hiriana: o-oh, o-okie O-O" (shoot I forgot about that...)

As they arrive at the Vampire mansion Venatra takes a deep breathe as he clutches Hiriana closer to him and he slowly walks to his home as it finally turns midnight. On his way over he sees a familiar face smile brightly and Venatra gets somewhat relieved to see his face.

When he finally reaches the front door it opens up and his butler smiles at him kindly while bowing as he holds the door open, Venatra walks inside slowly and thousands of faces turn Venatra gives a defiant glare.

Venatra: she is not to be harmed, understand? This is Hiriana, say hello everyone

The other vampires smile sweetly and wave at Hiriana in a friendly way and she shyly waves back as she hides her face in Venatra's arms while staying quiet.

Feriandas: we've missed you master, how have you been?

Venatra: I've been better, I'll be keeping Hiriana in my room where she'll be safe ok?

Hiriana: (w-what?!?!?) .///////.

Feriandas: as you wish master, your room was pre made for two upon seeing you arrive

Venatra: my my you never fail to amaze me my faithful Feriandas, thank you again ^^

Feriandas: I only live to serve the vampire king and take pleasure in doing so ^_^

He nods and leaves to clean up the dining room as Venatra heads to his room with Hiriana blushing dark and she softly tugs on his shirt and he looks down and smiles kindly as he opens the door to his room.

Venatra: what is it Hiriana? ^^

Hiriana: w-why am I staying in your room?! o//////o

Venatra: there is no safer place in this mansion then my room, only my butler may enter here and as you already know I'm the clan leader here. Your safe Hiriana I promise I won't let anyone hurt you.

Hiriana content in hearing that as Venatra lets her down softly onto the floor gets into his bed and snuggles into it cutely. Hiriana smiles as she starts to calm down and smile peacefully while her eyes slowly get heavy and she then pulls the covers over her shoulders.

Hiriana: goodnight Venny...

Venatra smiles and tucks her in his bed softly and then walks to his window and gazes outside at the beautiful scenery of the night surrounding his mansion. He then notices an unfamiliar figure outside wandering around and Venatra narrows his eyes as he then summons Feriandas to go fetch who or whatever it is that is tress-passing on his property.

Venatra: (any threats to my small angel will be destroyed without hesitation. no one but me can be close to her, anyone tries to steal her from me will die)
