Chap. 5: Crimson bone breaker

Venatra slowly walks outside of his room reluctantly leaving the door open to keep watch over Hiriana, Feriandas later returns with a tall man in a dark suit wearing a cross around his neck and Venatra smirks and quietly laughs. He then goes into his room and walks back into the doorway holding a small black book in his hand.

Venatra: back again you preaching dog? I already told you Unlike my clan I am not disgusted with that cross and it doesn't hurt me at all.

The man in the dark suit glares at Venatra as he holds up his cross to him but nothing happens and Venatra simply chuckles at the preachers attempt to purge him and smiles innocently.

Venatra: I told you no matter how many times you do that It's not gonna do a thing, we both read the same book and have the same belief but since I am of the undead you see me as a demon.. Such a pity, we can be friends you know.

Preacher: blasphemy, you are the devil's child and a lustful blood sucking fiend!

Venatra steps back with a hurt expression while looking away then looks back slowly with anger in his eyes.

Venatra: don't you dare put me in the same page as those other vampires you see in movies, I do not lust women nor do I seek ultimate power. I am different and also just to let you know I haven't had a relationship with anyone nor have I lusted a single person in my life. Not everyone is the same and I am not like sick adults who claim to be a perfect figure when you human filth have incest and molest the young children of other parents, or your own children!

Preacher: Not all of us are like that! Those who do that are damned to Hell!

Venatra: Yes you are just like them, I saw you lusting your step-daughter through the window as she undressed that other night! Do you deny it in front of your god?!

Preacher: ....I.......I.....

Venatra glares at him with hatred and the preacher suddenly bursts into tears and shakes with fear as Venatra picks him up into the air by his neck and pins him to the wall while Feriandas stands by his side.

Venatra: you claim to be a holy man who does good deeds and yet you the one person who everyone looks up to sins against his own child and god. What would your wife do if she found out about this? Did you or did you not look at her that night?

Preacher: I....

Venatra: ANSWER ME!!

Venatra is yelling so loud at this point Hiriana wakes up and walks to Venatra's side wondering why he is yelling, she then gasps as she hides behind Venatra in fear at the sight of the preacher. Seeing her reaction Venatra becomes enraged as he snaps both the preachers arms in half and drops him on the ground letting him scream from the agonizing pain.

Venatra: Hiriana, have you witnessed what this man had done?

Hiriana: y-yes, he's a child pervert and I caught him looking at my friend who is his step-daughter....

Preacher: please don't kill me, please don't kill me!

Venatra: I won't...

Preacher: y-you won't?

Venatra: nope...

Suddenly Venatra slits the preachers wrist open and he backs away as he picks up Hiriana and holds her safely in his arms as Feriandas helps cover her up while a group of vampires rush in to feast on his blood. Venatra covers Hiriana's ears and eyes from the gory scene while walking away to his study with Feriandas at his side.

When they arrive Hiriana is snuggled in Venatra's arms shaking with fear and he softly cuddles her as he tries to calm her down. Feriandas shuts the doors as he leaves them both alone in the study and Venatra softly places Hiriana on a soft couch and wraps a blanket around her.

He then sits in a chair across from her and looks at her kindly with worried eyes.

Venatra: are you ok? I'm sorry bout all that...you weren't supposed to see or hear that.

Hiriana: I-I'm fine...but w-what was that about? QoQ

Venatra: someone who wants me gone for being, this thing.... I don't hurt the innocent nor do I think disgusting ideas of people..... Everyone judges me before they even know me....sigh...

Hiriana: Don't let people put you down for what you are, you're different from them and you are not evil! You protected me twice without anything in return. For the short time I've known you, your a good man QwQ

Venatra looks up at her and smiles weakly as she smiles sweetly at him and walks towards a large bookshelf. She starts looking through them curiously while Venatra shuts his eyes and lays back relaxed knowing now at least one human trusts him, he then sits up and opens a large black book with a cross on it and smiles as he starts to read it while Hiriana opens a book and starts reading it simultaneously.
