Chapter Three

Gumi's eyes fluttered open, just at the beginning of the sunrise. She thought about her attempt yesterday and dug into her endless pocket for her disguise card. If she wanted to 'capture' naruto the old fashioned way, then she'd have to disguise herself as a new student at the academy nearby. She had done some research and had found that Naruto was a student at the academy.

"Let's see...." she murmured. She twirled the card around, turning into a dark haired girl with pink-ish red eyes. She also made sure she had what they called' Chakra' The only thing she knew how to do with that was the transformation jutsu. What? It had been a long time since she had become a demon.

She jumped down from the tree, her dark blue skirt fluttering in the wind slightly. She let out a small sigh when she saw the bruises on her knees. 'Humans are so weak.' she thought to herself. She took the two deck of cards that had fallen out of her pocket when she had disguised her self and dug them into her shirt pockets.

"Alright then. First I need to enroll in the academy." she clapped her hands together quickly before taking out her teleport card. "I won't be able to use this if I want to be disguised as a human, so...." she sighed and dug it back into a pocket and started a sprint to the academy.

As soon as she had finally gotten to the academy, she was out of breath. "Gosh, I hate humans so much." she murmured as she let out little breaths of carbon dioxide so she could breath in some actual oxygen. She opened the doors and headed to the reception desk.

"Excuse me, i'd like to enroll last minute." she said, rather bluntly. She fixed her voice a bit so it would sound more like a 12 year old girl. "Of course sweety." the reception smiled at her. "Just fill in this sheet and i'll get you into a class." Gumi nodded and sat down, holding the pencil. She answered every question easily before handing it to the receptionist.

She checked each one and smiled a bit. "Well, you're quite the genius for a 12 year old." she chuckled. "You'll be placed in Iruka's class. Go down and then left, and you'll see it, three doors on the right." she smiled.

Gumi only nodded before heading down the hall. She found the classroom easily. She heard the teacher talking about the new student, which was her, of course.

She let out a small sigh and opened the door. "Excuse me." she said, with a little sweetness sprinkled in her voice. Iruka glanced over at the door.

"Ah, she's already here! Why don't you introduce yourself?" he asked. Gumi nodded and walked up to the desk that Iruka stood by.

She stayed silent for a second too think about a name. "I'm Haruka." she said rather plainly. "No last name." she added in before Iruka could interrupt. "Alright then, Haruka you can sit-" Gumi stopped him quickly.

"I'd like to choose where I sit." she said calmly. Iruka looked at Naruto quickly with a sad look then back at Haruka. She walked up the stairs silently before sitting down next to Naruto. Iruka blinked.

"Alright then, class. Let's continue with the lesson." he nodded. Gumi glanced over at Naruto and smiled. "I'm Haruka, nice to meet you." she whispered. Naruto blinked before grinning, whispering back to his name.

'First step, meet Naruto in the classroom, completed' she thought as Iruka droned on and on. Her plan was working like a charm so far.
