I get up and get ready for summer school I know it's gonna be Mr.McClary which all he does have a us write papers and then just pass us.   I walk downstairs to see Sean  and Fiona talking " I'm going to school in the fucking summer " I laughing walking out the door

" Okay , todays assignment is to write a 'what if ' paragraph that will be read aloud at the state writers competition if it's good enough, so don't forget to put you name on it ." He says I pull out a piece of paper and start

What if when you were six you woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and instead of getting your parents , you called you grand Ma  knowing you mom and dad were too high to care .
What if when you were seven you woke up to your mom suffocating you're brother and killing him because she was withdrawing and couldn't stand his cries.
What if when you were 11 you're mom had a baby which would be put in a church to be taken in and to never be in contact with.
What if when you were twelve you walk downstairs to see your mom collapsed over the kitchen counter overdosed on heroine while you are trying to save your mom your dad blames you .
What if later that year you watch them pack their stuff and take your money and leaving  you abandoned  .
What if when you were just 12 having to asked your neighbor if you could live in their house for the rest of you childhood and teenage years .
What if when you were 13 you decided that you were done and swallowed 15 pills that you hoped would kill you .... but wouldn't .
What if when you were 15 you found out you were pregnant and would have an abortion later that month . Scared that if you have that kid and you would turn out like your mother and father .

What if that was you , your child , you grandchild , your niece , How could you live your life with the burdens from mistakes you've made,  you chose or what they did could you do it .  

I wrote on the piece of paper for the majority of the  class I get up and turn on in I sit back down . I honestly hate writing papers for contest cause it's so stupid but this is probably why I failed English and not any of other class. I see the teacher reading the paper I put in the basket  . I look at the clock it reads 2:25  we have five minutes till we can leave " everyone give a around of applause to Rowan , tomorrow she will be reading her paragraph during state  she can leave five minutes early " he says standing up handing my paper back to me . I get up and leave . Fuck dude I didn't want to read this I was purposely being illiterate so it was terrible .

I open the door to see that everyone is eating kfc that's a new one for me " well I guess we are all waking up during the crack ass of dawn and going to the state writers competition" I say acting happy  " well at least we got our self a success story in this family " frank says " she not even family " Debbie said. " I know " I say before I go upstairs and slam the door I plop on my bed I don't know why Debbie is being a fucking bitch cause she thinks it makes her a baddie for fucking Derrick at a party cause I did the same when I was 14 you don't see me walking around like a chola because of it . Someone knocks on my door " it's open " I say loud enough for the person on the other side to hear the door opens to show Carl hand and hand with Liam " Liam wanted to eat with his favorite Person here " he said half smirking " well if he's gonna eat in front of me he's gonna have to share " I say grabbing the plate from Carl and setting Liam on the bed " what's wrong with you " carl said sitting in the desk chair . " you know just nervous about doing the state thing " I said grabbing my phone " I think you'll be fine just nerves " he says going through desk drawers " how do you feel about getting a new whip for the trip tomorrow " I say smirking " that be chill " he said laughing I get up with Carl following me and we sneak out the back we get on his bike and go to the east side we pull up to an white run  down house . " I ask " Mija should be out back " she said we walk outside and go behind the house Martin is leaning up against the house smoking a doobie " so this where I can find a bitch ass pussy hiding from his sister " I say before grabbing the blunt from him  "dude I don't want your germs " he whined " Oh shut up cause you weren't saying that shit in March " I laugh " but I'm actually here for a car or some shit and like right now no wait " I say rocking on my feet " well short notice so I think I got a Pontiac grand am , celica or town and country van " he said with thin lips  " van it will get everyone there and back , you got anymore Xanax bars ?
