Chapter 2

Arthur knew from the time he was 2.5 years old to now, that he would not follow in his father's but instead his mother's footsteps.He was more capable of talking to, rather than killing animals.So he just went along with his father's idea.He went down his walnut wood stairs that his grandparents had built before they past.He sat down in his walnut wood hand carved matching chair, Arthur started to eat his favorite,Cinniamon Apple Oatmeal.

"Arthur Lets get going before it's too dark!"Levi said happily.His father waited about 3-4 minutes then said

"Arthur James Lox...NOW!!"

Arthur knew his father meant business, he rushed his last bits of oats, and put on his favorite goatskin jacket passed down from generation to generation.It smelled like his grandfather, he used to smell it when he was sad, Arthur loved that jacket with all his heart.

"Arthur you shouldn't eat so fast you'll have hiccups later!"

"Yesh mum."

Now go along with your father"

Love you mummy!"

Love you too!

They walk a couple of feet then...

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Arthur and Levi run as fast as the could in time to get to Gemma.All this stress of having an at home birth was causing Gemma to have this baby earlier than she is supposed to.She was going to have this baby in a couple of hours!Levi picked up Gemma and took her upstairs to their room, with Arthur coming up the stairs behind him.Levi grabbed her hand and he, had been gritting his teeth the whole time she was having contractions.Arthur had never seen his mother and father in so much pain.

"Arthur hold your mother's hand please."

Yesh papa!"

"Okay, Gemma push as hard as you can when i say push"Arthur looked at his tiny baby hand, it was bright red.

"PUSH!"

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

Again!"

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

"One more time!"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!"The baby started to cry really loud, Arthur felt as if his ears were going to fall off his face and run away, like the dish ran away with the spoon.

"It's a girl!What shall we name her?

"Naomi Belle Lox,after my mother."

"Get some sleep, okay honey?"

"Alright!"Gemma is sleeping so soundly she is snoring.

"This is brilliant!"

"What is papa?"

"Now that you have a sister maybe she'll like hunting?!?"

"Oh brother."Arthur goes to sleep in his white Pitstop Car Bed

with red wheels, with a batman symbol on the front.Levi tucks him in tightly like a bear hug.
