Chapter 8

Someone grabbed my ear!I looked up it's Kimerson,and she just starts dogging me.This is the seventh time this year.One more, and I'm D-E-D, dead, I can kiss my free time goodbye.Kimerson takes me to the headmaster's office, I've never been here before.I walk in and there is an over whelming smell of evil, like cigars mixed with cologne and burnt hair.There is a name plate on the desk and it spells, J-U-S-T-I-N L-O-X.Wait Lox, that's my last name who is this guy??Justin turns around slowly in his burgundy office chair.I look at him, up and down over and over again, I can't put my finger on who he is.Then I see his neck, it's the Flux Crystal Necklace my father had in my dream or memory or whatever.

"Where did you get that?"After I said that I soon regretted it.Justin walks behind me, I hear the door close.

"Why do you want to know?"

"I remember my father gave it to some woman with wings."

"What?"

"Okay simple version:Necklace my father's gave to woman with wings!"

"Are you Levi's oldest son?"

"Um...yes.What is your relationship with him?"

"I'm his younger step-brother."

"So, you're my uncle?"

"Yes!"

"Do you know what happened to my mom and dad?"

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't.Who wants to know?"

"Me!"

"Then...No."Arthur knew he wasn't telling the truth.The way he was hesitating, you could totally tell.

"What happened!!"

"My assistant blew up your house after retrieving this."He gesture to the thing around his neck.

"What?"

"No worries there was no casualties."

"What does that mean?"

"YOUR, parents aren't dead."

"Which means I'm not an orphan?!?"

"Pretty much."

"I've got to tell Naomi!"

"Who is this Naomi you speak of?"

"My little sister!"Justin presses a button on his desk, and suddenly Kimerson comes through the door.

"Kimerson, bring me Naomi Lox, NOW!!"Five minute pass as Arthur was trying to remember anything from his parents, but alas he couldn't remember ANYTHING.Naomi came through the door.

"Hey Mi."

"Hey Arthur."

"Hello Naomi."Justin said with an evil look in his eyes

"Who are you?"

"I'm your uncle!"Justin said with a whisper. And might I say he is one of the creepiest uncles I have ever known.

"Who are you??"Naomi snapped at Justin.

"I'm your daddy's beloved step-brother

"What?"

"Yes, and you both may go now!"Justin presses another button on his desk but his time it is green, but this time Sage comes through the door.

"Sage, take these children back where they came from!"

"Yes, Sire."Why did she call him sire?!?Is Justin royalty or something?Sage holds our hands like five year olds.Within minutes kids snicker as we walk down the hallway.My reputation ruined in one minute flat.We look as if we are in Oz and are going donw the yellow brick road.

*Bing Bong Bing Bong*That means it is finally lunch time, as soon as she let go of my hand I start bolting for lunch.I see Zach and Luigi waiting in the Strawberry Parfait line.

"What did you get in trouble for this time?"Zach and Luigi interrogated me as if I just committed a crime.

"Nothing!"

"Yeah, right."

"No, I'm telling the truth."

"Uh huh."

"Whatever.Anyway did you know that I'm the Headmaster's-"I pause for a second as I see Isabelle or Bella as most people call her.She has blonde hair, green eyes with a tiny sparkle, and perfect lips.Bella walks toward us.

"Hey Arthur."

"H-Hi."

"How's it going?"

"G-Good.You?"

"Good, see you later."

"B-Bye."She walks back to Naomi and says

"Your brother is such a dork."

"I know right."

"Nice going dweeb."

"Thanks Zach, for your encouraging words!"I walk back to our lunch table,#13, with Zach and Luigi.Today's Main Sandwich is "Sandwich Surprise" I wonder what they even put in this stuff.Luigi is trying to maintain his "perfect figure", so he grabbed a light salad and, a ton of dressing.Zach was much like a younger brother to me.We both came in around the same time, and I don't think his parents are dead either.

"Hey Naomi, wanna be my girlfriend?"

"Not even in your dreams, Luigi.Arthur tell your little friend to stop asking me out EVERYDAY!"

"Luigi, stop it!"

"I can't stop myself from such a pretty lady."
