You and Lucy have been best friends since middle school and have been inseparable since then.
But you don't know why but you've developed feelings for her during high school.
Now in your senior year of high school you were planning on telling her how you felt about her.
Today is Friday, you and Lucy decided to have a sleepover today at her house. The last time you guys had a sleepover was freshman year since you've been busy with your studies, you haven't spent much time together.
You were putting your books back in your locker when you felt a slap on you butt, you closed your locker and were ready to slap the person but once you turned around you realize it was Lucy.
"Oh~ (y/n) your butt is getting firm with all those squats you have been doing." Said Lucy with a smirk on her face.
You blushed and playfully hit Lucy on the arm. "Yeah, yeah you don't have to keep reminding me about it." You said "So are we still on for the sleepover tonight?" Ask Lucy as she put her arm over your shoulder.
"Of course Lucy, it's been forever since we had a sleepover plus it will be fun." You said as you guys walked towards the parking lot.
Once you reach the parking lot you made your way to (your favorite car). You turned to faced Lucy "Well I'll see you later. At your house." You said but before you could turn to enter your car Lucy grabbed you by the waist and pulled you close to her, your faces were inches apart from each other.
You could feel her breath on your face causing your face to heat up.
"Is she going to kiss me." You thought to yourself "There's no way she would feel the same way I do."
You close my eyes waiting to see something happen and you felt lips on your cheek. You opened your eyes to look at Lucy, "Well bye (y/n), I'll see you later at my house." Said Lucy as she started to walk away to her car.
You enter your car and drove home getting your stuff ready to go to Lucy house.
---Time skip to the sleepover---
You were at Lucy place her parents were out of town meaning you guys had the whole place to yourself.
You were in the kitchen making some popcorn to eat while Lucy was in the living room looking for a movie to watch.
"Lucy! popcorn is almost ready, have you picked a movie to watch yet?" You yell from the kitchen
"Yea I picked Insidious chapter 3!" Yelled Lucy "What!? You know I hate scary movies." You said as you made your way to the living room with a bowl of popcorn and some soda. You sat on the couch waiting for Lucy to play the movie.
Halfway through the movie you were clinging onto Lucy arm the jump scares were to much for you.
"L-Lucy can we do some else I don't want to watch this movie anymore." You said "Sure, but I decided what we do next." Said Lucy with a smirk on her face.
"Let's play truth or dare."
"I go first truth or dare?" Asked Lucy "Truth." You said "Hmm okay is their anyone you like if so who is it?" Your face heated up "Why would she asked that."
"Y-Yeah.." You said "Oh...really who is that?" Asked Lucy. She sounded a bit disappointed.
"Y-you..." You said in a low whisper. Looking away from her. "I didn't quite get that, can you say it a bit louder." Asked Lucy.
You took a breath and said "You! I like you but you probably don't even feel the same way towards me." You brought your knees up to your chest and placed you head down on them.
It was silent for a moment until Lucy broke the silence. "(Y/n)...you know for the past year I began to develop these feelings for you...but I was afraid you didn't went that way or felt the same way."
You felt Lucy hand on you face. She pulled your head up and made you face her. "(Y/n) I also like you."
Lucy then started to lean towards you and that's when her lips touched yours. She kissed you passionately.
You put you needs down and Lucy pulled you on top of her not breaking the kiss. You placed you arms around her neck and she placed hers on your waist.
Soon you needed to breathe so you broke the kiss. "So what does this mean?" You asked Lucy. "It means that we're going out, unless you you want to." Lucy said with an awkward laugh look away from you.
"You could at least ask me out properly." You said crossing your arms. Lucy looked at you and grabbed you face close to hers.
"(Y/n) will you be my girlfriend?" Asked Lucy. You smiled and said "Of course." Before crashing your lips onto hers.
