Chapter 12

Hey guys I haven't written in FOREVER I'm so sorry and wanted to thank you guys because I noticed that you guys have gotten this book to almost 1k even though I wasn't writing and I can't believe it thanks guys. By the way chapter 13 will possible be up in a day or so because you guys are so awesome.
Also this is a really long chapter for you guys I thought I was really mean for not updating in forever💓

Amy's pov

It was weeks later after the problem with the horse and something was off with Ty but I needed to figure out what it was I didn't let myself think it at first but now I knew, Ty was ignoring me and I was concerned why.
When I woke up to the sunlight greeting me I was told by my alarm clock that it was 6:02am on a Sunday morning. I quickly realized that I needed to go do the chores before 8 because I was meeting up with Ashley and by the phone call last night with an upset voice on the other line I knew it couldn't wait.
I sat up in my bed and check my phone for any messages from Lou or Ty, nothing. I stood up and slipped into my jeans and pulled a hoodie over my head because I knew it would be cold outside it being early in the morning and all.
I was in the kitchen grabbing breakfast when I heard footsteps which happened to be grandpa and my little niece katie.

"Aunt Amy!" Katie said with excitement in her voice struggling to stay quiet because she knew that Lou and Peter were still sleeping.
"Katie! How is my little munchkin?" I said giving her a hug and picking her up and rested her on my hip.
"Good but I can't find my horse pogy" she said frowning.
" Amy have you happened to see it we have looked everywhere" grandpa said with some hope.
" actually you guys haven't looked everywhere, I found it in the laundry this morning all fresh and clean" I said walking over to the basket containing a stuffed pony all clean and finding it for katie. I was hugged tightly as katie thanked me for saving her pony that was recently kidnapped by the laundry.
" katie what do you say to watching some cartoons with grandpa while I do the chores?" I asked knowing I wouldn't get anything done if katie came with me.
"Cartoonsssssss" she yelled with happiness as Lou and Peter entered the room
" good morning!" They both said.
"I have to check on Tara to see if she needs anything" Lou said quickly as I noticed it was after 7 now and I need to hurry.
" I need to do chores and then I'm with Ashley for awhile" I said informing them.
" okay bye girls" grandpa yelled as he was now in the living room with katie.
I grabbed my jacket and raced to the barn knowing I would need to hurry if I was going to meet Ashley on time I texted her saying I would be at Maggie's at 8:30am and shut my phone.
It was soon 8:15 and I knew I needed to head into town. I quick grabbed grandpas keys and made my way into town slightly nervous thinking of the possible things that could be wrong with Ashley.
As I walked into Maggie's I noticed Ashley talking to Soraya with an upset tone in her voice.
" hi ash wanna talk?" I said giving her a hug. I started to walk over to table as I was grabbed by a gentle hand.
" um Amy... Can we talk outside I want to go somewhere private" ash said upset.
" of course" I answered.
We walked over to a table outside of Maggie's and sat down.
"Ashley you are totally off today what's wrong" I said looking at her with caring eyes.
" well my mom has been going to the doctors a lot and when I asked her what was wrong she said not to worry and it was nothing so it escaped my thoughts for a couple days. now she's saying there was bad new." She said pausing before her next sentence.
" my mom, she has cancer!" She yelled the word cancer in anger as she cried.
