Natsu x reader: life after mating season

Chapter 18

"What brings you here today (f/n)?" the stern, pinkish haired woman asked.

"I have been feeling awfully sick lately. I missed my period and I've been throwing up. I think, I think I might be pregnant." You smiled shyly. You've kept this a secret from Natsu and the guild in case it was a false alarm. You knew they would be disappointed if it was.

"Have a seat child." Porlyuscia pointed to a twin sized bed in the back of the room. You were extremely nervous. You were hoping it wasn't a false alarm. You truly wanted to start a family with your fiery husband. Porlyuscia analyzed you as you sat down on the bed.

You nervously wrung your hands together; whishing the old woman would hurry up. 'What do I do if I am pregnant?' you asked yourself. 'Natsu definitely won't let me go on missions if I am. That'll really suck' you internally groaned.

"Please lie back with your hands to your sides." Porlyuscia instructed. Once you were laying down, the medical advisor placed her hands on your stomach. You tensed at the touch. You sat in silence, for what felt like forever. When she took her hands off of you, you sat up as fast as you could, "So.. am I pregnant?!"

She smiled at you. An expression you had never seen on the reclusive woman's face before. "Congratulations (f/n), you're pregnant." At her words you broke out in a smile that no one could ever wipe off of your face.

"OH MY GOD! HOLY SHIT IM PREGNANT! IM PREGNANT!" You yelled as you ran out of the tree house. You were eager to tell your goofy lover that he would be a father.

*time skip*

You wiped the sweat off your forehead as you reached the door to you and Natsu's home. "NATSU!" You burst through the door.

"Why are you yelling so loud weirdo?" Natsu grinned at you from his hammock.

"You're a dad Natsu!" you squealed.

"What!? You're preg-" his sentence was cut off by an 'oomph'. Natsu had fallen out of the hammock in his excitement.

"You're stupid and I'm a mom "
