"Are you sure he won't find us?"
"I can't be certain, BEN, but we are safer here than we were at the mansion. Now get some sleep."{24 hours earlier}
Jeff heard a knock at the door. He ignored it, hoping BEN would get it.
But BEN did not even twitch, and the knocking continued, getting louder. Groaning, Jeff got out of his bunk bed, climbed down the ladder (nearly falling down half way) and opened the door.
He didn't expect to see Slenderman so early that morning. The incident that happened with Masky made Jeff instantly back away from the door, but he then realized that made him look extremely weak, so he straightened up."I need you to follow my orders." Slenderman told the killer.
"Yes?"
"Yes, master." Slenderman corrected, and crossed his arms.
"Yeah, master." Jeff replied, grunting. He also crossed his arms. He refused to feel weaker than this faceless creature.
"Wake up BEN. Go to the back of this Mansion. You will find Masky."
Jeff was confused on where this was leading. "....And?"
"Kill him."
Jeff stared at the Slenderman. He hoped he had heard him wrong, but his words were very clear, and boomed over and over in Jeff's mind."K-Kill him?"
Jeff turned around to see that BEN was wide awake, sitting in his bed.
He had heard what Slenderman said.
"Correct. I'll be considerate- you can choose how you may kill him. Leave the body out there, I'll collect it's parts up-"
"You're a sicko." Jeff said, no hesitation.
Slenderman gave the lowest chuckle. "You're a serial killer, Jeffrey Woods. A murderer. A mutant. How is killing someone a problem at the moment? I'm curious..."
"Fuck you." Jeff replied.
"That's no way to talk to your master. If you don't do what I have asked, I will kill Timothy, along with BEN."
Jeff turned around to see BEN with fear in his red orbs of eyes. He was also crying a black substance.
Slenderman continued. "BEN is of no use to me. He is weak. You are the best killer I have, Jeffrey. Do as I have asked, unless you do not care what happens to BEN."Jeff grabbed BEN's wrist, pulling him out of the bedroom, past Slemderman. He kept holding his wrist until they were outside of the old mansion.
"J-Jeff..." BEN quivered. "I w-won't watch you k-kill him."
Jeff kept his voice low, in case someone were to hear. "I'm not going to kill him."
BEN looked up at his friend, confused, and still scared.
"I'm done with all this shit we are going through here. This isn't a safe haven anymore. Pack some of your belongings. I'll go help Masky."
BEN just stood there, processing things.
"Go! Get your stuff!" Jeff nearly shouted.
BEN scurried back into the mansion, leaving Jeff alone outside the mansion. There were dark pine trees all around him, and the sun barely reached through them. Jeff followed a path towards the back of the mansion. He had a knife in the pocket of his infamous white hoodie, which he had worn for a few days now.
Soon enough, he saw Masky, in the open, tied to a thick tree with layers of rope.
Masky was always know-it-all, and annoyed Jeff very much. But he would never kill him. He had sworn never to kill another person he care about (not that he would admit he cared about Masky). He didn't want to go through the pain of loosing someone again.
In all honesty, he wasn't sure if he would miss Masky tremendously if he killed him right there and then, but he decided not to risk the possibilities."Jeff..." Masky's voice sounded dry, like sandpaper.
"I'm not going to kill you." Jeff said quietly. He got out his knife, and started cutting up the rope, aiming to free the Masked man."Leave this place."
"I was planning to with BEN... Where can we go?" Jeff had almost finished cutting the rope.
"There's a cabin near there. The girl who lived there has been gone for a long time. I used to go there with Hoodie, when I was aloud outside the mansion. Slenderman still thinks the girl lives there, so you won't be caught. The over-realm border isn't far from there either. But hurry- Slenderman will be out here soon, expecting me dead."Jeff didn't know what to say. "Why does he want to kill you?"
"I did a horrible thing..."
There was sudden noises coming from the forest.
"Jeff... Go. Now."
Jeff cut the last price of rope, but Masky didn't get up.
Jeff was about to protest, and drag Masky with him, but not far from where he was, BEN was standing with a ruffled bag full of belongings, waiting for him with anxiety of what happen.Jeff ran towards him, knowing that Slender could catch him at any moment. He turned around to see if Masky would follow, but he was staring at Jeff from where he was tied up. He suddenly walked back into the dark looking mansion.
"You're an idiot!" Jeff shouted after him. Why couldn't he just follow him and BEN to the house out in the woods?
Jeff realized he had shouted, and that would probably catch the Slendermans attention."Come on, BEN, I know where we can go."
{Back to the present}
"Are you sure he won't find us?"
"I can't be certain, BEN, but we are safer here than we were at the mansion. Now get some sleep."
"When I first came into the mansion... I didn't trust you, or anyone."
"I remember that." Jeff replied.
"But after a while, I got used to things. Sure, Slenderman was strict, Hoodie was suspicious, but I then realized I was being paranoid. So badly, I regret letting my guard down. I thought that mansion was my new life..."
Jeff signed, almost sympathetically. "Say goodbye to that new life... This is our newer life."
BEN gazed out the window next to his bed. There was only one bed, but Jeff decided he didn't mind sleeping on floor. The bed was a bit small to share with his friend...
The cabin was surprisingly warm, and it was quite empty. It was livable. Had a table, a chair, a small kitchen, and a bathroom.
The sun started to set."So are we going to live here together...?" BEN asked awkwardly.
"What other choice do we have?" Jeff said quietly.
There was silence for a short while.
"But we'll have fun here. Don't worry, we'll find a way. You can play video games, and I can go kill some bitches."
"And you can read Twilight."
Jeff rolled his eyes sarcastically. As long as he didn't bring this topic up too often, he wouldn't mind living with him.
