Due Over

I really hate that I'm going back, I was okay in my new school. Don't get me wrong, Grant High was great, but going back doesn't sound like a pleasant idea. I had new friends, a guy that I liked and I was doing fine in all my classes. I don't really see a point to it, but I guess I'll just have to roll with it.

I had to change schools because Grant High was getting really hard to pay for my parents. We tried getting me a scholarship and getting my grades up, but that didn't work, I had to transfer.

I transferred to Camel High last semester, at first I was terrified, I did not know anyone there and they were different to everyone at Grant High. But, surprisingly, it was really cool. I was there just one semester, just my third. And guess what? My mother got me a scholarship, isn't that great? Note the sarcasm, I'm not happy about it.

Whatever, today's my first day back and I couldn't be less excited. I mean, I've been here before, it's not like I'm new or anything.

Who am I kidding? I'm actually really nervous, I'll be in a totally random classroom where I'll probably know no one and I'll have to win back the friendships that I might've lost because of no contact what so ever.

Hello Grant High. I get out of my car and with my head held high I open that familiar huge gray door, and just let everything sink in. Everyone looks overly enthusiastic, every one's hugging their friends they didn't see over winter break, and I just told one of my really good friends I was coming back, Blake. I really do miss her, I'm really glad I get to see her again at least. We did see each other and text and stuff, but it was not the same, I was not here.

I walk in, I immediately get looks from people that I've seen before, I think they noticed I was gone. I take my phone out and text Blake.

-"Hey, where are you?! I'm fricking the hell out!"
-"My brother's taking me there today! I'll be late I'm so sorry!"

Great, just what I needed. I start to look around for someone, anyone I used to hang out with.

-"Oh my God! Peyton? Is that really you?!"

I turn around to see Meredith, thank you good Lord! Meredith's tall, just like me, she has really long dirty blonde hair that goes all the way down to hair belly button, her eyes are a greenish brown color, and she is a really hyper girl. How did I not tell Mere I was coming back? We hanged out even when I was at Camel!

-"Meredith! I cannot believe I forgot to tell you! I'm back, for good."

-"Are you kidding? I can't believe that you're back! You were so missed here! You don't even know!" She says that while hugging me.

-"You think? I don't really think anyone noticed."

-"Do you really think that? You should've seen how many people asked me where you were." That's a relief. At least I do have friends to go back to. "So why are you back, what happened?"

I just kept talking with Mere, and the bell rings, that dumb bell, I hate it so much.

"I have to run to class, I'll see you in lunch okay?" Meredith says by rushing to the nearest classroom and getting in.

Shit. Where's my classroom? Hmm, my schedule says that I'm supposed to be in room 104.

I walk into the room and see familiar faces, I smile, I do actually know a lot of people here! I say hi to everyone and they're surprised I'm back. Suddenly, Blake walks into the classroom. She has long curly black hair and dark green eyes, she is also really skinny.

"No way! Peyton! Oh my God! We're in the same classroom! This is going to be so much fun!" Blake says and we get super excited. This could never happen before, because this is BLL. In this school, there's like a "class system" not really, but it kinda is.
