Chapter 8: Broken Promises

2 DAYS LATER

(Flashback)

It was the 2nd day I have been in this amazing house. Anyway it's been wonderful! I have everything that I can ever dream of.
My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my bedroom door.
"Come in." I say.
Niall walks into my room, out of everyone here I'm the closest to Niall. He is the most trustworthy person out of everyone. TIP: DO NOT TELL HARRY YOUR SECRETS! HE TELLS LOU AND WELL WHEN LOU KNOWS A SECRET, NOT GOOD! Let me tell you! Anyway Niall. He walks in and sits on my bed.
"Hey Lena can we talk?" He asks.
"Well your already talking so sure." I smile.
"Look, just so you know I'll always be there for you, through break ups or fights or anything that you need me for. I just wanted you to know that you have someone there for you and that you can trust with your secrets unlike Harry." He says.
"Thanks Niall!" I say, giving him a hug.
He smile and stands up to leave.
"Oh and I promise you I will always keep you safe and I will never hurt you." He smirks and he walks out of the room.
I look down smiling. Wow I never knew that Niall could be that way, not until now.

(End of flashback)

"Wow dear I'm so sorry." The old lady says to me after I finished my story. I have been staying with her for these 2 days. She was the nicest lady ever. She let me help her work in the bakery. It was so fun. She even told me that the bakery was mine after she passed. She said that she would leave everything in my name.
"It's ok." I say looking down.
"I think you need to go back to them. They need to know that you are ok. Even though right now you all are upset they love you very much." She says.
"I just can't." I tell her.
"I know it's hard but you really need to dear." she says.

NANS POV: (Aka old lady)

This little girl has been through so much. She needed to go home and see this family of hers again. I know she didn't want to but she reminds me so much of my childhood memory. I lost my family because of one stupid mistake. I can't let her make that same mistake.

LENA'S POV:

Go back that was something I couldn't do but I had to for Nan. We said our goodbyes and I headed out the door promising to visit again. I don't break promises! I'm almost to the house when I see cops cars everywhere. I freeze.

(Flashback)

"Stop!" I yell at my dad.
"Shut up worthless piece of crap!" He shouts at me.
The police barge in. They put my father in handcuffs. He was lead out the door and into a cop car.
"Shh it's ok." I hear behind me.
I turn around and see an older lady in a police uniform.
"Hi my name is Lena what's yours?" I ask.
"Oh Hi Lena I'm going to be taking you to the foster care. My name is Nan."

(End of flashback)

Those blue eyes all coming back to me. Nan. The same lady that took me in at the bakery. The same cop that took me to the foster care.

The world around me starts spinning.

"LENA!" I hear multiple shouts.

I feel pain.

Zayn fainted.

I remember falling into Perries arms, there was bood everywhere.

Dani started crying, Liam was frozen.

"Lena no we love you!" El shouts.

I hear gun shots, darkness surrounds me.
