Chapter 17: Lie
Lexy and I stood on the giant stage. The lights were blinding us. Just like when I was little.
(Flashback)
"Stand there and don't move or you'll be sorry!" My foster dad screamed at me.
He got into his car and started driving full force towards me. The lights were blinding.
(End of flashback)
"My name is Lexy Calder." She looks at me as if I should say my name.
I take a deep breath thinking of this year.
"I could tell you my last name was Peazer, but I can't, because that would be lying. My name is Lena Sky and I know my last name. I'm not supposed to share it with anyone, but I can't lie and I know the boys are falling apart without us. My name is Lena Sky Payne."
Someone looks up from the audience. Curly brown hair, green eyes.
"Harry?" I ask.
He now looks into my eyes and runs.
I stand there frozen.
Lexy nudges me and tells me to finish my sentence.
"And I was Adopted by Payzer." I whisper looking down.
