My Dad dropped me at Jess’s house at 6. In the car we talked about random stuff like what happened at school...

When we got to her house her dad came to the door and him and my dad talked about times and stuff.  I was looking seriously bored so Roger said why don’t i go inside. I slipped under his arm that was leaning against the door frame and went into the living room. Jess was sitting on the sofa waiting with Lucy.

“Hi.” i said

“hello.” Said Lucy.

“Hey.” Said Jess.

We waited for a while then we heard Roger say “Do you want to come and say goodbye to your dad Ellie?”

I went out into the hallway and down the corridor. I hugged my dad and he told me the arrangements. I said “Ok dad, see you tomorrow at 12!” We hugged and said goodbye then we walked into the front room where Lucy and Jess were still sitting on the sofa, now listening to Lucy’s iPod. It had just got to the chorus of Super Bass (all of us singing along) when the bell rang. Jess, Lucy and I went to the front door and Jess opened it.

“Hey.” said Lisa, waving her fingers.  Lucy and I walked back into the living room to make space in the corridor for Lisa to get through.

“DAD!!” shouted Jess “Lisa’s here, you need to tell her sister the arrangements.”

“Let’s go upstairs,” Jess said to us, “Set up our sleeping arrangements!”

“You like the word ‘arrangements’ don’t you?” I said to Jess

“Yes,” she replied, “problem?” We all laughed.

When we got upstairs we all chucked our bags and the contents of Jess’s bed on the floor and flopped onto the bed (as we do at every sleepover). Then we arranged the sleeping bags and duvets on the floor and played ‘Would you rather’

“Alright... Lucy, Would you rather... Eat or wear a meat dress like Lady Gaga?” I asked.

“Oh, tough one, probably... eat it,” she said reluctantly. “Not my style.”

“What, a pack of dogs following you round town?” laughed Lisa.

We all cracked up and after a few more questions and more heaps of laughter, Jess’s mum shouted up the stairs “Dinner!”

We had Chicken nuggets and Smiley faces, one of our favourite meals of all time; we’ve had it ever since Pre School when we went to each other’s houses in the afternoon.

“Yay!” we all said.
