She sat on the floor holding the old dusty frame against her chest. From her book bag she heard a buzzing noise. Someone was calling her she stood up and shakily walked over to the bed. She sat the frame on the bed and grabbed her phone. Two missed calls from Jaydn. She silenced the phone, slid it back in her book bag and sat the bag on the floor. "I'll call him later ." she laid back on the bed and closed her eyes. "He has Kali he'll be fine." She began to fall asleep
(Two hours later)
"Addie, dinners ready. are you coming down?" Addie sat up and looked at her alarm clock. 5:30 "Yea ill be down in a minute." Addie's mom closed the door and headed back down to the kitchen. Addie took her phone out and looked at it. 7 missed calls from Jaydn. "7 missed calls, what could be that important?"She texted him "Sorry i fell asleep what did you need?" then she headed down to the kitchen. "Mmm something smells good." She smiled.
"its tacos" Her mom sat a plate in front of her. "There ya are kiddo." Addie smiled then checked her phone. "Who you texting?"
Addie responded "Jay"
"You and that boy are always together, when is he gonna ask you out?" Addie laughed.
"Not anytime soon, hes dating Kali." Her mom rolled her eyes.
"Oh lord." Addie read the text from jay. "I need to talk to you, meet me in Narnia?" She respond. " yeah be there in 10" she finished eating, kissed her moms cheek. "I gotta go thank you for dinner ill be back around 7:30." Addie grabbed her jacket and rushed out the door.
