(a/n: kind of an important chapter)

Karlie shook her head for the millionth time, grinning at the ridiculous ideas Cara was spouting through their earpieces that were still glued to their ears still as they rode/drove a few blocks through the city.
Apparently, Cara had no plans to let go of the fighter since she was clinging onto the taller girl like her life depended on it ever since their little adventure had started. She's fun. Karlie thought, laughing lightly at another one of her statements. She didn't mind her forward nature or her clingy habits, she didn't mind the constant ridiculousness or flirting from the Brit either. It had taken her by surprise at first but she'd come to realise that it was just the way she always was with everyone.
The shorter girl could always be counted on to make light of whatever situation they were put in-even if it included a fully grown flesh eating monster of a dog coming after her. How did she even do that? The fighter still wondered as they stopped at a red light (she hadn't felt the need to disregard them this time. They weren't on a time limit).
Martha and Lily stopped next to them on the nearly deserted street even though it was only 8pm. The snowing had come to a halt thankfully and Knockout didn't feel like an ice statue any more. Laying her hands off the handle bars, she stretched her arms upwards before putting them to the back of her head. Her hands lightly knocked the sides of Cara's head that was still nestled on her shoulder. "Hey! Watch it, Kloss! Your arms are too long for your own good." Karlie giggled, pulling back her arms and mumbling a sorry before her eyes shot back to the shorter brunette. "How do you know my last name?"
The fighter could see her blue eyes widen and her iconic eyebrows wiggling through her visor. Chuck simply giggled before rolling her eyes. "That's what Cat called you like...twice so I figured it must've been your name."
"Right." That makes sense. Karlie turned back just as the light went green, following the Honda Civic that the other two girls were in. She heard Lily suddenly quip in her earpiece "Your last name is Kloss...but what's your first name?"
The green eyed girl shook her head, smirking again. "Not going to tell you." Martha groaned on the other end. "Oh come on, a name can't be a secret. That's one rule we keep among us, no secrets.""But that's one rule I keep. I don't give names." Karlie retorted, chuckling when the others groaned in annoyance.
It was a rule she had kept with throughout her little renegade assassin career and she wasn't about to discard that even if she trusted these girls that had welcomed her into their little team and had showed her that they had her back. She had even resisted giving up her name to Cat despite her peculiar fondness for the mysterious girl.
That was another thing she needed to address. The mysterious girl that seemed to be running through her mind all the time for the past week. Even more so now after everything that had happen that day and the way she had disappeared into thin air after the episode with that Ricardo guy. Karlie decided that she needed to find out more about her and the situation before the night ended.
Knockout's thoughts were interrupted by Chuck's voice in her ear. "So...it's not breaking the rules if we guess your name right?" Oh gosh. Kloss couldn't help the laugh that escaped her mouth when the other girls squealed. "Yeah! You're going to have to just say yes or no and we'll just guess!" Martha put in when Lily started off with the first one.
"Is it...Lily?""Nope." Karlie shook her head, still following the car in front.
"Cara?" Chuck tried, resting her head on the girl's shoulder. "Nope."
