I laughed as we ran down the street,
We were heading to the pool,
With her hair tied back in a messy bun and she was wearing a two piece,
She was my best friend,
But I was afraid to tell her though,
So when she told me she might be my heart exploded with joy,
Then she found him and it sunk again,
I was done with the fighting and arguing between us,
So I jumped and didn't surface,
It has been 5 years and I still watch over her,
Now she's with her and she's so happy,
Even though she isn't with me I'm happy because all I ever wanted is to see her smile and hear her laugh.
