What does a hero do with his or her identity?

Hide it, of course!

No one must know...no one.

------

He breathed heavily, waking with a startle on his couch. Ah, just as expected...

A dream.

Or..a nightmare.

Ludwig had probably brushed Feli's screaming off, Feli then forgetting what was scaring him. Matthew was still at home, ranting to his bear about how much he hated his brother, Kiku watching anime, and Gil hanging out with Rod and Eliza.

Alfred smiled.

I'm still the hero..

He looked at his watch.

Shit!

He was going to be late!

-----

His smile faded when he was met with the scene in the meeting room. England had drawn somethin on th board, and everyone was laughing at it. That hadn't been what silanced him; it was the worry, as to why when he walked in the room, the other nations went quite.

"Ah, Alfred, um...could you..uhh.." Arthur was trying to come up with an excuse to get him out of the room. Alfred walked in, and saw a drawing of himself; with a huge circle as body.

He tried to smile.

He tried to laugh it off.

He could feel his jaw shaking. He was going to crack. Say a snart comment...anything..just say it!

"W-Who's the sexy guy you drew, Iggy? I want his number!" He managed to sputter out. He saw Kiku and Matthew look at eachother in worry, and averted his eyes from the scene, only to be yelled at by a brit.

"You stupid bastard! It's telling you to lose weight, fatass!" Arthur spat in his face. Alfred looked down at his feet. He wanted to spring back up, and say dude, I'm totally better looking than you, so lay off! But nothing came out.

Suddenly, he felt his jacket being tugged off.

"It's ninety-seven outside, take that filfthy jacket off!" Arthur commanded.

"Yes," Francis agreed, "Remove it, please. It's hideous."

"Lay off!" Alfred screeched, trying push the nations off. If they got his jacket off...they'd know..

His jacket was his suit, his burger was a mask.

Hiding a frown, protecting his wounds.

"Guys please!"

They overpowered him.

He hadn't worn a shirt, due to the heat, so his cuts were fully exposed, as well as his thin, body. His ribcage was showing, and the four nations backed up in suprise.

"A-Al..we didn't.." Matthew sputtered.

"Your...your..arm..!" Kiku choaked out.

"I-I..." Is all Francis managed to stutter.

Arthur remained silent, staring at the country in shock. Alfred fell to the floor on his knees, sobbing. He hugged the jacket to his chest, crying into it. Footsteps were heard behind him, and he spun, met with the face of Ivan, Eliza, Gil, and Natasha.

Natasha didn't seem to be paying attention, but was following Ivan close behind. Ivan himself, covered his mouth, eyes going wide. Eliza got on her knees, patting his shoulder and asking if he was alright. Gil started yelling at the other nations, barking about how they had gone too far.

Eliza tried to hug him, only to be pushed away.

"Le-leave me alone...don't speak of this! Ever! It never happened, hear me?"

"But...Al.." Matthew stepped closer.

"It never happened!"

Before he knew it, Alfred had been down the hall, and in his car. He didn't care about the meeting anymore, he would miss it. They would say he got sick, and everything would go back to normal. It would be just fine.

I'm the hero, I'm the hero, I'm the hero..

You're a pathetic victim.

You're no hero.

	You're no hero
