Chapter 5

While Sawyer was in the other room on the computer searching my family tree, I was in the office going through books with my family in it looking for any supernaturals.

Three hours later I finally found one, my mother Rose. I had only been with her for two years of my life before she passed away. She was murdered by vampires which I figured out last years.

Due to the fact that most of my family doesn't know about the supernatural world, they can really help me. If I brought it up I'd probably be shipped off to some asylum, and they'd run off telling everyone that I've gone bonkers!

I holler for Sawyer since I'm still not great at reading supernatural brain patterns. As he reads the brain pattern he has a very confused look. "What is it?" I ask "I've never seen this species before, I don't know what she is!"

Well that wasn't what I was expecting. Now I know for sure that I'm just some freak. "Do you think maybe your parents will know?" "No they taught me all about our kind, this isn't a normal supernatural, Kylie. Rose is different and so are you. I can't read your brain pattern anymore, you just keep closing me off, but when you change to another form I can read you."

I don't know what to think so I just decide I need to go see Ayla and get my mind off of things.

As I pull in her drive way I see her parents leaving. "Thank god" I mutter to myself. Her parents arnt really fond of me, they think I'm a whore. But if only they knew what their daughter does on a regular basis.
