I saved some kid's life, and out of all the odds it had to be a member of The Pegasii. But why didn't he notice my Aries necklace? I mean, it's 2 tons of whopping iron made by the master crafter of our guild. Perhaps he still can't see well?

"I forgot to ask you, what's your name?"

"Sizon Earlheart. Proud member of The Pegasus. What clan are you in?"

That simple question sent chills down my spine. Should I tell him the truth? If I do, then he might just rip me to shreds considering I'm just a novice. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!?!

"Uhhhmmmm.... uhhhhhh.... the StoneHea--"

"Don't even think about lying to me. I've seen and heard about that guild mark. You're an Aries member."

I was practically getting ready to get my sword out when all of a sudden... <swing> Sizon had his sword tip right above my chin.

"Don't even think about beating me in sword-play. I'm not one of those Pegasii who goes around            killing innocent Aries members just because of some stupid guild war."

<buckles sword back> <takes sword off my chin>

"You saved my life tonight and I just won't take that for granted. I'll take you to my home. My home."

"No, no, no, no, I'll be ripped to shreds if I'll be seen with this guild mark!"

"My guild family's been saved thousands of times by your guild so my guild family doesn't give a           cypryus about that old war."

"Great. A 12-year-old Pegasii kid who has a frequency of using curse words like cyrpyus."

"In my guild, cypryus is just a simple everyday word."

<ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRR> A blaze of ash and fire struck down across the sky.

"Cory, was it?"

"Y-ye-yeah"

"RUN"

Running around the obstacle field in my guild's training area was a piece of cake, but running AWOL through the forest is another thing. Leaves, mud puddles, Bikwikkers (slimy slug during the crusades),not to mention potential traps laid by other guilds lay everywhere. With the possibility of an Eeth dragon following our trail, there's no time to rest at all.

"Look, there!"

Somehow, Sizon found a nice cave to hide in. Terrified and shriveling, he cuddled up on the far ends of the cave and covered himself with some blanket in his back pack. I forgot the fact that he was still a kid. And somehow, this dragon broke his maturity back to how he's supposed to act in his age. I cuddled up a few inches away from him and kept myself from freezing to death. <BOOM> A loud foot step, maybe. Sizon almost screamed but I held his mouth and told him to stay quiet. An eye stared at us blankly. I know that eye. That huge, ugly, dragon eye. It's from the Maesh dragon. With intense fire hot enough to burn thick steel into hot lava in 5 seconds. It's only advantage is, it can't see well.

"Sizon, don't move an inch."

............silence, once again

Thankfully, the dragon snuffled and flew away. Hopefully, far, far away. <sigh> I looked at Sizon but he was still staring blankly through the opening of the cave.

"Sizon, it's okay. The dragon--"

<ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAARRR>

With the ear-wrenching sound of Sizon's scream PLUS the Maesh dragon's deafening roar I couldn't think clearly. Only by some light from the corner of my eye do I see our only way out. The question is, how can we get out, alive?
